All about fitness until we lose every single match though, isn’t it. Momentum is key.

 

I am aware it is about sharpness but conceding from set-pieces again, against a fifth tier side is poor. These mistakes need to be rectified before August.

2nd half team selection a bit odd. Not enough of a mix and not enough experience. Yes it's about fitness but the youngsters gain more by playing with 1st team players. They play with each other in the youth teams and I'm sure would much rather play alongside more 1st team players.

Can't really read too much into that, especially considering the second half was basically a development squad game. Think it would be harsh to excessively critique some of the young lads in particular who aren't going to be at their best at this point. Callum Wright does look like a very interesting player though.

these sort of games happen all pre season but we aren’t party to results. Last season we lost to Hearts for example but it got a minor by mention in an Edinburgh newspaper 

 

Wouldnt be surprised if we have played some this week hence the lack of first teamers
