FoxesTez Posted 20 July 2022 Posted 20 July 2022 (edited) From John Percy's latest piece: Chelsea's highly-regarded defender Levi Colwill, PSV Eindhoven winger Noni Madueke and Celtic midfielder Matt O'Riley are high on Leicester's list but everything is on hold at this stage. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2022/07/20/leicester-logjam-why-brendan-rodgers-transfer-plans-have-paralysed/ Edited 20 July 2022 by FoxesTez 1

Flannel_Fox Posted 20 July 2022 Posted 20 July 2022 I was wondering wheh our bi-annual link to a Celtic player was going to pop up

All is not lost yet - 4/5 out and 3 in before end of window - top 7/8 battle again - everyone calm down a little bit and enjoy the most successful period as a club we will probably ever have - and we are all alive and watching it 15 1

Aleksz Posted 20 July 2022 Posted 20 July 2022 I’ve heard really good things about this lad but they literally only signed him for £1.5m in January - now we’ve got to wait for someone to leave before we can bid for him
Finnegan Posted 20 July 2022 Posted 20 July 2022 TLDR: As has been said already: we have targets and we want to move but we can't do anything until we reduce our existing wage bill and move on some senior players but literally nobody wants them. Nobody is even close to leaving.
Aus Fox Posted 20 July 2022 Posted 20 July 2022 Anyone know anything about O’Riley? What sort of player is he? Never heard of him myself, but don’t watch any Scottish football.

With it coming from a respected, knowledgeable source like Percy too then you’d hope some would finally start listening.

Started well with Celtic but think he may have fallen out the team, not sure if this is because of injuries. 1
AjcW Posted 20 July 2022 Posted 20 July 2022 Seems an odd one unless we were tracking him at MK Dons. He only moved to Celtic in January.
Popular Post StriderHiryu Posted 20 July 2022 Popular Post Posted 20 July 2022 The unpalatable truth, in simple terms, is that Leicester have to sell players before they can buy. It is a logjam that is proving a huge frustration. Leicester’s wages-to-turnover ratio is very high and simply unsustainable at the current levels. There are too many highly-paid players spending their weekends doing nothing on matchdays. Financial losses for next year, on current projections, could be over £90 million, yet the commitment of owners King Power remains unwavering and it is the size of the squad and Financial Fair Play that are the bigger concerns. Without funds coming in, or the wage bill being eased, Rodgers cannot move for the players he wants to revitalise his squad. This is the most important part of the article IMO. 8

Left footed but decent with his right. Tall (definately over 6ft), can see a pass and scores the odd goal. 1

Would you say more similar to KDH, Maddison or Tielemans in playing style?
