Much better tonight in both halves - Hull never even really had a sniff of goal

 

Although the first half was pretty dull, it was relatively comfortable for the 1st XI and good work from Praet and then Daka for the goal

 

2nd XI straight out the gates and all over them - Madders is just brilliant

 

Even though they could be leaving, it was nice to see Praet and Bouba both putting in good performances - especially Bouba, seemed much more like the player we all thought we were getting even if it was only against Hull, putting in that bit more effort makes a difference

That team can challenge top 6. Two of the best players in that match were Praet and Soumare, Daka too was class. Maddison is no one-season wonder, he's got magic in his shoes.

 

Would love a signing or two, that elusive right winger with some X-factor would be great. Personally I would love Lookman back who proved himself worthy of a permanent signing too.

 

But based on what we just saw, we have not only a good first team, but a good squad. Schmeichel, Ndidi and Nacho didn't even play!

After what's been an emotional day with my Dad's funeral, I was hoping the boys would put in a shift and give us a good performance, so glad they didn't disappoint, some lovely passages of play and well taken goals, great to see us pressing again and causing panic, well played lads

What do we actually do with that? No disrespect to Hull City, who I’m sure this will have been a marquee fixture for, but surely we won’t actually take that back to Filbert Way?
