How many points extra do you think we’d have if he was here? My guess would be 3-4.

Through shot stopping alone you may be right. But possibly the overall application of standards may have been better and less points squandered

Don't think you can put a number on it.

Not just his shot stopping but his leadership is sorely missed. Do you think we'd constantly play with such a lack of pride with a proper captain? You'd like to think not.

Agreed, I feel like he was a good link with the fans too, he genuinely cared so much and wasn’t afraid to communicate for the good of the club.
I feel so disconnected to the current set up and squad of players.

Kasper knew the ship was sinking and got out before it did.

He said he wanted to play in Europe again before he retired, he made that clear in interviews.

And this is where I can't believe the club didn't start looking for replacements. Unless they genuinelly thought Ward and Iversen are good enough to compete as numbers 1 and 2, which they aren't.

We lost a good shotstopper, better overall goalkeeper than what we have now and a leader.

We had some horrendous runs of form and capitulations with Kasper as captain too. Whilst I think we do miss him in the dressing room, I'm not sure he was a great on the pitch leader.

I remember a post match interview during international duty a couple of months ago, he was asked how he felt about Leicester being at the bottom of the table, and he clearly became upset and said that it bothered him a lot.

How often do you see/hear Tielemans shouting at players, organising/re-organising those on the pitch, showing awareness of the developing moves from the opposition? Not much as far as I am aware. Figurehead, not a leader.

When Vardy leaves, we will have nothing in the changing room

We’ve got the squad balance wrong in recent years. Too much focus on young talents we can sell for a profit imo. Its a good strategy, but we still need a good balance of youth and experience.

Someone like Chris Smaling on a free transfer in the summer would be fantastic for us.

I actually think he could make a great manager.

Go back and watch any game from lockdown. All you could ever hear was Schmeichel shouting and organising.

I said in a thread at the time that we would miss his influence a hell of a lot the day he left but I didn’t expect it to be quite this bad.

My Danish mate sent me this clip, all you can hear is Kasper shouting, organising and motivating his team. He's giving everyone instructions not only the defence. Who do we have now that does this?

honestly could be 10-15.  Football is a game of fine margins and the whole game changes when you concede. We have a keeper jumping out the way of a the ball.

Plus whatever you think of kasper, he was one of the few vocal figures at the club. she would be making a difference in the dressing room.  A real shame we could succession plan properly with him

To think that so many on here were so critical of Kasper last season and more than happy to see him leave. Blaming him so many times when actually what he was doing was keeping the score down behind a Mickey Mouse defence.

Its laffable tbh. Many were wanting him dropped for Ward last season.

I’d have him back here in a heartbeat but he’s not stupid. He saw the writing was on the wall and got out at the right time.

How the pendulum swings on FT.

How many times, no one was happy he left but could understand why the club and Kasper were parting ways. Add in most people thought and it appeared obvious that Iversen was going to be coming in off the back of several good loan spells.

I actually think a handful more, mostly due to his impact on the rest of the team. He has never been the most talented keeper out there, although on his day he was pretty spectacular, however, his leadership is what we miss most. I think he would have dragged us to a couple more draws and wins.

Catastrophic decision to let our leader and arguably the heartbeat of the club leave, last season the warning signs were there, to then sell your club captain and one of the icons of the club was asking for trouble and guess what look at the state we are now in.

Sack Rodgers and bring back Kasper, would be a start in addressing some of the slide.

There is no way we would be this shambolic mess if he was still here.
