Leicester City supporters will be able to toast the arrival of the new Premier League season on Sunday with a complimentary beer or water, courtesy of Chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha.


- LCFC Chairman to provide a free beer or water to all home supporters on Sunday
- Gesture is a thank you to fans for their support ahead of the new season
- Beer and water to be given away at collection points around King Power Stadium
- The Foxes face Brentford in their season opener on Sunday at 2pm

 

All home ticket holders will be eligible for the generous gesture from the Chairman ahead of Leicester City’s first Premier League fixture of the 2022/23 season at home to Brentford on Sunday 7 August (kick-off 2pm).

 

A familiar tradition at King Power Stadium over the years from Khun Top and his late father, Khun Vichai, it has been seen as a way of bringing fans together to thank them for their magnificent support.

 

The giveaway will take place between 11am and 1:30pm at selected points around King Power Stadium.

Beer and water giveaway points

- Point 1 – North Stand next to turnstiles 52 & 53
- Point 2 – East Stand next to turnstiles 30 & 31
- Point 3 – South Stand next to turnstiles 19 & 20
- Point 4 – West Stand next to turnstiles 10 & 12

 

Please note all hospitality guests will receive their giveaway from their respective lounges inside the stadium, while a valid home match ticket will need to be shown upon collection outside the stadium.

Important information

Alcoholic drinks only available strictly to those aged 18 and over in accordance with the Challenge 25 policy. All complimentary items must be claimed by 1:30pm.  

Complimentary drinks must be consumed before entering the stadium.

Offer is one per person and only valid on Sunday 7 August, 2022.

I’m sorry but I’d rather that £150,000+ money worth of beer go towards something more meaningful like transfer fees. I thought we had no money left yet can give out free beer like it’s nothing.

I highly doubt that each beer is costing them £5 tbf lol

If you think it costs that much you are off your rocker! 

 

The first thing they can do is claim the VAT back as they are giving it away as a gift, so save 20% straight away.

 

They buy it in bulk so they buy it dirt cheap or they can buy stuff close to its sell-by date and get it even cheaper.

Lol yeh proper mental. The beers probably costing them 20p each, or free, or even getting paid for it given the branding opportunity to the beer company. Also £150k in transfer fees lol, ie one weeks wages…

Class act again from our owner- I dont think anywhere else does simple things so well for their fans- really is a nice way to say they appreciate us being there to support the team- dont try to make it anything to do with blooming transfers- just enjoy the gesture for what it is - ill be enjoying mine and then buying a few more whilst giving every ounce of support I have for our boys on sunday to get those 3 points and get off to a great start!!

You do realise who our sleeve sponsor is right?

 

You do also realise this 'generous gesture from the chairman' each year is part of that deal right? 

 

The beers cost the club £0

£150,000 wouldn't even get you a players toe nail clippings in today's market.
