Once you get on the wrong side of Rodgers you're done. Starting Amartey ahead of Cags and not bringing on Praet and Mendy when, by his own admission the players were becoming fatigued, are decisions that beggar belief. A change of coach would revitalize this squad. I hope Top sees this and pulls the trigger sooner rather than later!

Yes, much better to refresh with a new manager than wholesale panic buys.

Ndidi was poor today. I think he is bored in his role, and has been for some time. Getting Mendy on for him second half would have been wise. Praet too for either Tielemans or KDH.

Totally agree. Ironically the refresh Rodgers was spouting on about starts with him!

Do you think that Top didn’t allow BR to spend any money as he thought he might be disposing of his services soon?

No I don't, I think it's more likely that Top doesn't trust how Brendan would spend it.

Who in their right mind would sign fringe players on 3 year Contracts for a 1 Season Euro campaign and pay them more than their worth.

That's the reason we're in the financial bind we're in.

That’s what I’m saying!!! After last summer’s signings he probably doesn’t trust him to spend any more money.

I don’t necessarily want Rodgers to go but after 5 games we might see him gone.

Lots of people forgetting how poor Soyuncu was for most of last season.

We aren’t but we know his ceiling is much higher than Amartey. And is more comfortable on the left than Dan.

Been travelling back from holiday all day so only just got round to watching the highlights and digesting what went on from the snippets of footage, but I note;

• Rodgers only made 1 sub, out of 5 and even that one was after 70 minutes.

What. The. Actual. ****!

• We we’re defending too deep for the goals

• We scored from a set piece!

What. The. Actual. ****ty. ****!

End on a positive I guess.

Prediction - Rodgers won’t make it past Christmas.

I do think he's a good Manager but with Flaws. He needs to admit his limitations and get someone alongside him who can advise him quietly.

The really great managers all done it.  I think this is why we're prepared to wait for the new man to oversea recruitment.

There's 2 types of Managers, One who sets up his team his way and takes the game to the opposition. Klopp, Pep, Even  Marsh at leeds and Cooper at Forest.

The other is one who worries about the opposition and sets out his team to try and stop them from the start. Sadly this is the group I feel Brendan falls into.

You should only adjust your game plan if it's not working during the game.

Never gonna happen sadly.

Just watched back before the sub and he goes to check his ‘idea’ with dumb and dumber (Kolo and the weird no.2 guy). They all do a strange arm movement to indicate two up top and then all agree in approval. Absolute group think shite. Wish we could bin them all.

Brendan cost us two points.

His reasoning for taking off KDH for Daka just annoys me. As for not making any more substitutions :@

What a day with problems getting into the ground to going 2 up then capitulating in such a incompetence of substitutions or should say lack of substitutions, Rodgers can’t see that using the same team that started the game in heat of 25+ deg players will eventually tire and make mistakes !

Thomas Frankk played the subs to his benefit sending on 5 Subs to replace knackered players his team then Get an equaliser, what do we get BR a sending on DAKA for KDH a then no other subs he could see his players flagging and making mistakes but still chose not to utilise his subs the way the opposition manager so successfully did why??

Ive always been Pro Rodgers but today his decisions to not change the squad around at 60min Keeping Vardy on who was nowhere near his best today who I thought would have been replaced by Daka he took off the one player who did look at his best, if he wanted to play two upfront why not play Daka & Nacho or Perez Praet was superb in pre season thought he would have got a game I just don’t understand why Rodgers didn’t use his subs to his teams benefit it was criminal !

He had his reasons for doing what he did

what is inexcusable is not correcting it within ten mins when it was clearly not working - daka came on in 70th min

he had four more subs so it wasn’t rocket science to sort it out …..

I think it was 73 minutes when they had just brought on Baptiste and we had took off KDH when you could see what was about to come for the rest of the game

Baptiste went straight in between the massive gap between the midfield and defence and it genuinely looked like no one had a clue what to do or who should be covering him, he had about 15 yards of space around him in every direction

I think if I remember they launched it long and it didn't come to anything but it really set the tone

I saw it exactly the same after the sub.. it was like they had an extra player..

Evans looked at and spoke to the bench for guidance… but the inevitable was coming

the game was getting away from us and he used one sub. That one sub made us weaker.

personally i would have brought praet on as a like for like. i would have brought daka on for the last 15 for vardy. I may have even brought on albrighton for castagne. And that’s just if i wasn’t changing the system to match them.

I just don’t understand the move to bring in a striker for kdh… i can’t make it make sense. for madison maybe but for our grit and energy player? it’s confusing
