Tielemans is not the player to blame for today's draw

He would have had to have touched the ball more than three times for that to be the case.

Will be interesting to see the stats on subs across the weekend. I doubt there were many sides that only made one.

Maybe Rodgers thinks you are only allowed to bring on new signings for the first match of the season :dunno:

1.  Strange set up for a home match against Brentford

2. Daka for Vardy maybe ..  but for KDH ??
3. Why not Praet who Brendan said had played well preseason ..

4. Ward did all that was asked of him ..  excellent replacement for the Great Dane

5. why only use 1 fookin sub if post match Brendan you said they looked fatigued !!!

Ward is a Championship goalkeeper

Well, i'm gonna surprise one or two people, I thought we were very good....

...Up until about 60 minutes, then normal service resumes, sitting back, you could tell we weren't going to win from that point.

More excuses, more chucking under the bus, all of which he's in control of.

Onto the next one and repeat most of the comments.

Amartey is a problem of Brendan’s own making.  He’s a guy who won’t play Cags, won’t even sub Praet on and even after a half decent pre season didn’t even pick Soumare in the squad. Furthermore, there is width with Perez and Albrighton both of which had nothing of a sniff today.

if you tie one arm behind your own back, you cannot whinge about it. Today wasn’t about no signings. It was about bloody mindedness. I hope Brendan gets the hairdryer treatment himself for today.

Praet, Soumare, Perez and Albrighton. I wonder how many of those would get into the match day squads of the seven clubs who finished above us last season?

Hope much space did that Brentford player need for that second goal ffs, not a single defender/midfielder closing him down. They offered next to nothing and we managed to find a way to let them back into the game, fvcking ridiculous

We're the worst than ever (most likely) at holding a lead. What a load of shit. Our in game management is shit. Our mentality is shit.

It's at the point where we get 2 goals and we think oh shit.

Amartey is NOT good enough for the premier league. Ndidi's passing is worse than his tackling which is a net negative effect.

Without new faces we'll finish 15-20th.

Pretty ridiculous game management today.

The substitution to bring KDH off was baffling, Tielemans was decent first half then became anonymous Andy King second half. The lack of substitutions was shocking too, the players looked spent 65 mins onwards, was crying out for fresh legs.

We looked good for the lead, but just crumbled. Terrible defending for both goals.

The turnstiles were shocking also. They kept giving pointless announcements over the tannoys but still many people had no clue. Suppose the club can only do so much though.

You need to rethink where we are.

My utter bafflement with lack of subs, and dismay at the one sub we did make is over. lol

Now go sell some people

The funny thing is that I can see us picking up points against one of Arsenal, Chelsea or United.

That’s the frustration, such an inconsistent side in the past 18 months or so.

After the Seville game I said we didn't look that good and people said I was in the wrong. We looked the same today. The intensity seen in the hull game had gone against Seville and it was the same today.

In both games we didn't have a hat full of chances, the possession was slow and quite negative.

Our defence was exposed time and time again.

With 30 mins to go and Brentford chasing the goal...it was inevitable as it has been through BRs tenure.

Side note; Ndidi is seriously on the decline. On the odd occasion he passed forwards he just gives it away. He missed about 3 ten yard passes.

Arsenal, Man Utd, and Chelsea in our next 4.  I'd be amazed if we get any points from that.  That's why i think it was crucial to get 3 points today.

....we will do what we normally do, upset the big team and pick up unexpected wins!!!

Anyone notice they made five subs, we made one sub and they seemed fresher than us from then on… shocking revelation really.

It’s as simple as this as to how they got a point. Vardy, Maddison, Tielemans all tiring. Doesn’t matter if the players brought on are worse, you just need the energy. We got tired, they won the ball of us high up the pitch and the rest is history.

I still can’t get my head around taking KDH off for us to be totally over-run in midfield.

Felt like Bournemouth away all over again.

Little Northern Irish flash twat.

I know exactly where we are. We’re a team that’s finished 5th, 5th and 8th in the last three seasons. We could easily lose five or six squad players and sign one or two (CB and RW) and have an infinitely better squad.

I do realise that it’s not as simple as that but, until we do, I’m not sure any other manager is going to come in and do much better than Brendan - as any decent one will want a transfer budget and the ability to bring in his own players

A lot of our fans are turning into everything that we used to take the piss out of.

Disagree personally the meltdown would have been under any manager we’ve had in the PL after todays game.

Carrying too many players in our squad with no real hunger or desire. 5-10 million in the bank, medals in the drawer, no national team in the world cup to aim for and dare i say it no particular  pride in their own performfance...not a recipe for success at this level

Didn't watch so can't comment on overall performance but it's a  continuation of a theme and a real missed opportunity to start the season strongly ahead of some difficult games.

Daka for Dewsbury-hall could be considered an attacking substitution on paper and in sure Rodgers would hide behind that.

We need to sign wingers before the deadline.
