KFS Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 The only way to stop it is to play bastard football and stop trying to get this lot to pass it into the net. Low block and counter.
RowlattsFox Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 We can hide behind 3 of the first 5 being against the big six. Huge next 2 games. 3
ronnup Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 We won't get anything at Brighton , Villa game will be a 6 pointer 1

Guest Bilo Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 Very possible we go down at current levels. I suspect Rodgers is on his way very soon, and I wouldn't be too shocked (and certainly not disappointed) if we had a caretaker manager for Brighton. We joked about El Sackico against Villa, but I doubt he makes it that far. Faes almost certainly isn't a Rodgers signing I would wager, and you get the sense that the team is being readied for a new pair of hands.
FoxesWalk Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 To complete the set of English trophies we need to get relegated back to non league On course.
Chrysalis Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 I personally have never understood the mindset of giving dead man walking managers more time, it just gives the next manager less time to fix things. 1
surrifox Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 At least we will get £100 mill TV in our final season in the premier for a while plus parachute money . This shite show of a transfer window has cost us big time 1
Cropwellfox Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 4th favourites with bookies to go down. That’s changed fast 1

Sly Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 Okay, teams on 1 point after 5 games in the past 10 years. 22/23 - Leicester - TBC 21/22 - Norwich and Burnley - Both relegated. 20/21 - Fulham, Sheff U, Burnley - Two relegated. 19/20 - None 18/19 - Newcastle and Burnley - Both survived 17/18 - Crystal Palace- Survived 16/17 - Stoke and Sunderland - One relegated 15/16 - None 14/15 - None 13/14 - Sunderland - Survived 12/13 - Reading - Relegated So in the past ten seasons, twelve teams have faced our predicament, with six going down. That’s 50% (hard math I know).
StanSP Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 Getting worried that the longer it goes on without a win, the more pressure there is to get that first one. Brighton will be tough. Villa perhaps tougher given such pressure.
joeybside Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 We are deep in the quicksand without a rope to cling to

Popular Post Area88 Posted 1 September 2022 Popular Post Posted 1 September 2022 Relegation is everyone's favourite word now. However, we looked okay against a good Man Utd side that beat Liverpool. I expect us to turn this around quite soon. I saw good football today. 7

Ric Flair Posted 1 September 2022 Posted 1 September 2022 Those programme notes of Aiyawatt's will mean the square root of fcuk all if he doesn't practice what he's preaching and safeguard the immediate future of Leicester City. 2

Early season but going down is a very real prospect, isn't it? Perhaps it's because I'm an older supporter but always guessed it was a case of when, not if. Why? Because in all my life following us, we have yo-yo'd between the top two divisions. Of course we even had a season in the 3rd division too. Strangly, seeing us down there has a familiar ring about it. Yes, we've had a truly fabulous and unbelievable ride that will never be forgotten, but it suddenly seems a blur and here we are, back in familar territory. Gosh! That's depressive and negative I know. I suppose deep down I hoped we would be an established Premier league side for the foreseeable but that was my heart. My head on the other hand.. ... 1
