...it's still funny to see he's not exactly hit the ground running though. We all know how entitled and expectant Chelsea fans are.

His regression here is very much mirrored by our present team, we did a good deal, Chelsea came out the best and he will develop to be the player that we all think he will be.

Fofana will make plenty of mistakes in the future. It's all part of the growing up phase for a 21 year old player. The only difference is, when he made errors for us, very few media people cared. Now because of the club and price tag, everyone's going to take the piss, just like with Maguire.

This is true, I expect he will get to his best but he did spend almost a season out with a bad injury… didn’t start the season well for us either. So it isn’t so straight forward that he will be the player we once thought he would be. I’m hoping he ends up like Maguire
