Absolutely, Top does not seem to have a proactive mentality which is really holding us back, I just don’t feel he’s cut for ownership.

 
Maresca will definitely not be sticking around long term that’s for sure.

It’s surprising that more wasn’t changed at the end of last season, a supposed “root and branch” investigation yielded very little change, which was disappointing. 
However we sit 10pts clear at the top and looking very good for promotion.

Im not sure what difference new owners would have at this moment in time.

We shouldn’t even be in this position in the first place total mismanagement. 
 

New ownership in the summer hopefully, Top doesn’t have the ambition that Vichai did.

Had enough ambition to write of 194m in debt last march.

Actually his ambition is the reason for us being in trouble with FFP.

I dread to think what this forum would be like if we were mid table and not flying high at the top of the league. Presumably the tea lady recruited Maresca while Top was on holiday. Enzo is an inexperienced manager who has been given the chance to manage a recent Premier League Champion club. He’s doing a great job but needs to be a little less needy. Also, various comments seem to think we wouldn’t be an attractive prospect if offered for sale. Why on earth not? Too many doing our club down. So Sensi didn’t work out, we’ve managed well enough with what we have, only 4 teams have beaten us and we’ve won against 18. Stop panicking and acting as though we’re in the bottom half of the table. There won’t be a shortage of players wanting to join us when we get promoted. Up the City.

I don't think he has anywhere near the same interest either.

We are basically Tops old toy that he has got fed up with.

He's grown up and moved on, and has other interests.

Poor decision making because he's let it be that way, by taking his eye off the ball, because sadly I don't think he has the same enthusiasm or interest now.

I don’t disagree with your first comment. I do however strongly disagree with the second sentence. If you’re hiring and retaining incompetent people, you must yourself be incompetent. There is no excuse for the same again approach from the summer given the disaster that occurred last season.

But as owner, he needs to and must realise the issues caused by the seeming incompetence and deal with it effectively. That is his role.
