Cracking weather.

BBQ, Beers, Music…lovely.

Leave the climate change stuff for the other threads 👍🏼

So you're not opposed to foreign weather, coming over here, nicking our cold?

lightening hit a house near us last night, sounded like a bomb went off (new build estate and luckily no one had moved into the house) loudest thunder/lightening I have heard in this country

Best storm we’ve had in years. Was trying to sleep but it just kept getting more intense. Instead came down to the conservatory, opened the blinds and a window and set up camp there for the night. Only got a couple of hours sleep and absolutely wiped out. But would love another one like that. Absolutely brilliant.

Sounds like you guys got a great thunderstorm last night. Sadly my way it was all quiet.

Two nights ago the sky was flashing non stop for about 40 minutes. Was amazing to watch.

We had continuous rain, thunder and  sheet lightning at at Desford from 3.30 for nearly 2 hours.  Quite the storm

Yup, I’m in Hinckley and it seemed to go on forever! The thunder shook our house on a couple of occasions

You slept through that? So loud in LE3 and it seemed like a lightshow was happening just outside our window.

Yep. I'm LE14 and apparently it passed right by us and shook the house really violently.

I used to live in a flat above a bank and slept through that getting ramraided though.

The weather here in southern Spain was just ridiculous yesterday. 38 degrees with the full on hairdryer feeling at 11pm, still 33 degrees at 2am. I'm hoping it was an anomaly and not summer arriving about 2 months early, otherwise the demand on electricity and water are going to be unprecedented over here this year. 38 again today, which we don't normally expect for another 6 weeks or so

I wish I could reassure you of this, but given current projections I fear it is not an anomaly.
