Big 3 points, although Leeds were shite and we didn't create much. Praet did well on the right and provided width, which we've lacked lately  Seemed like we tried to move the ball forward quickly at times as well

Leeds gave us so much space and it played to our strengths.  All of our players were either solid or better.  Very good from Faes and Praet.  Three clean home sheets in a row for Ward.  A long way to go, but have we turned a corner?

Good win, yes Leeds were shit but you can only beat what is in front of you.

 

Good performances from Faes, Tielemans, Praet and Soumare and Danny Ward must be gaining confidence, we really need to build on this and turn around our abysmal away form starting at Wolves.

Pretty boring, certainly 2nd half but we've needed some semblance of defensive stability and there's been a clear tactical tweak. Tielemans was MOTM tonight for me by a country mile. I like Faes and he defended very aggressively and well but the whole evenings easy work was because of Tielemans in his movement at the back and pretty much being everywhere.

 

Praet had a great first half, as did KDH. 2nd half was so so boring going forward, we couldn't string more than 2 passes together but we need the points so at least we got them.

 

Palace and Leeds have been diabolical, we are so abysmal away from home and tonight means nothing if we can't get a result away on Sunday.

Can honestly say that is the first win that I've been disappointed about. 

Was genuinely hoping a loss saw BR sacked, a win keeps him in his job to lose us more points. 

 

I know, I know. I am happy we won bit just not what the consequences are.

It’s funny how some fans see our games. 
 

We weren’t great tonight but we certainly weren’t bad or lucky. We deserved to win because we were the better team. 
 

Some fans would make you think we scored two break away goals and defended for 90 minutes.
