I doubt anyone on here is slating him for his personality. Yeah he's often involved when the club did something charitable.

But at the end of the day, you have to perform on the pitch as well

I didn’t say anything about people slating him as a person and acknowledged that his stint here wasn’t the greatest.

I shared a story about him that people might appreciate and wished him well.

okay I can't take this place seriously anymore

first we've got some random "ITKs" who waffle about whats going on at our club

now we've got ITKs for ****ing spanish clubs?

Let’s put it this way, I’d rather read people posting “my mate is on the Betis board” than anyone else coming on here to tell us their mate is the ref tonight. lol

Never really understood the stick he got for us. Predominately played out of position. Always worked hard. Technically fantastic.

I love me some Brendan but the only criticism i can give the man is that he likes players that can play more than one way and unfortunately Perez couldnt. One system pony

He missed a chance once... and that's it, you are done with some fans.

I always thought he worked hard and agreed, was played out of position.

I mean come on mate, the man has a back catalogue of chances he's blazed over the bar that last the length of Champagne Supernova.

Players have achieved nowt for the club and been given greater plaudits. I see Perez as an Ormondroyd figure. Ungainly, unloved and often played woefully out of position but he has helped deliver amazing moments for the club. 9-0 v Saints, FA Cup Final, consec Top 5 finishes with nigh on double figure goals. Fair play and farewell if it is to be farewell.

Assume he's been wearing concrete boots as some sort of protest at us not playing him as a 10 then?

If we are cancelling his contract, this move doesn’t need to be done today depending on la liga squad rules

I’m sat next to my paper shredder at the moment, and will drive it the training ground (or wherever the contracts are stored) now if required

Exactly. It was only the transfer fee paid for him and the wage offered to him and neither of them were his fault. The only players that are worth giving stick to is someone that's not working hard and putting a shift in. Anything else is the fault of whoever was behind signing them, not the actual player. It's the recruitment teams job to determine if they have the right quality and we are paying the appropriate transfer fee and wage.

Name me some attacking players that haven't? Especially this season... I feel like some people have turned a blind eye to some of the goals he has scored, and just concentrated on some of the misses - harshly treated IMO - but it is right he moves on now

I've got no stats to back this up, but is he? I swear most of the time he's in possession our move will break down due to a poor touch or pass or him skying a chance over the bar. Tends to dither on the ball a lot and is often bullied off it easily.

The endless FoxesTalk cycle of:

1) posts about Ayoze being disappointing,

2) posts about Ayoze not being used in his best position,

3) posts about how Ayoze was disappointing whenever he was used in a more central role, too,

4) back to 1).

Every time he played as a 10 or up front he was even worse than when he was on the wing. He started upfront vs Stoke in the FA Cup and he was dogshiiiiiiiiit

this has to be the worst post i’ve ever seen!

One chance 🤨 he misses one of those every damn game

The lad is a bit like matty fryatt, always seems to be in the right place… but unlike fryatt he doesn’t bury them

Would I pay £30m of someone else’s money for a player who played a vital role in an FA cup final winning goal for Leicester even he if he did basically nothing else of note? Yes. Easy. Bargain.

I wouldn’t care if we paid £50m to bring Junior Lewis out of retirement if the ball bounced off his arse into the path of Nacho to win us another FA cup.
