That is utterly insane.

 

That said across the season it's been shown that we have been statistically unlucky to concede as many goals as we had done, and these things do tend to even themselves out over time.

Will see if this can be kept up, the start to the season can't just get swept under the carpet and I'm still anti-Rodgers – but today was much better from him; the subs were the right ones, done at the right time – and that second half was as well as we've protected a lead for bloody ages.

 

Faes looks an absolute steal and Ward was brilliant. Full backs both had nervy starts but were great once we settled.

 

Wolves are very bad and hopefully this'll be their year.

Superb all over the pitch, great goals, magnificent defending and finally looking like a team that can stay up. And credit where its due, BRs game management today was spot on. The rights subs at the right time. All in all a perfect storm. Eceryone was a seven or more. And a big shout out to Ward, well played sir!

Ward has been below par most of the season -- I don't know how much that is psychological, and how much that is ability. I have always liked him in the Cups, and hope he cracks on. But these past few games must be great for his confidence. And this one he didn't make one mistake that I noticed.

After the subs (60min) we actually looked like a decent side again.  Before that shambolic and lucky to be leading.

 

Would like to see us start with Mendy / Vards and Praet.  Madders in the 10.  So much better.

21 shots from Wolves is a crap statistic, and shows that they were desperate.  It was actually nice to enjoy an away performance. Great all round, and Faes is improving.

 

Dare i say, but Ward was is actually good right now. 

 

Look like a different team already, but 3 rough matches coming and could be bottom again very soon. Lots to do still.
