We've always been a tough fixture for them here. And I think we will be in the game again.

I'd go with much of the second half team. I do worry with Haaland against our defence but if we fight fire with fire and attack them, we've got a chance

Massive L incoming but what can you do. Hopefully with other results going our way we’ll stay out of the bottom three.

Aim should be to be outside of the relegation zone by the World Cup.

I’d go with the line up vs Leeds but with Maddison in for Vardy as a (very) false 9, for the fact he’d be able to hold it up and draw fouls (breathing opportunities for the defence / midfield).

Then introduce Daka to give them something different to think about, hopefully play on any complacency in their CB’s.

1-1 Inevitable Haaland goal + spirited Daka equaliser.

I put it to you all that this is the right time to be playing them - found some results and a defence yet nobody expects anything out of the game. Hopefully we put in a performance and go on from there, regardless of the result.

I think it's more a case of finding impotent teams, but we'll definitely see over the next couple of weeks.

I know you're not much one for stats, but the underlying stats aren't really changing and the same issues are still present. We've fortunately played 3 of the worst teams in the league at home in a short space of time. It was definitely the best time to play Forest, Leeds and Wolves :D

The quality of the team isn't in doubt for me, the way we're set up and playing still requires us to be fairly "lucky" for want of a better word.

I think the way to trouble Man City is to sit deep, have lots of pace up front and be willing to pop balls over the top of their high defensive line, especially as they are missing Walker. Barnes and Vardy up top with Youri and Madders pinging the through balls is the way to go for me.

I fear you're guilty of building a conclusion that fits a narrative. You've found a way to find fault with 3 clean sheets and 7 points.

Well at least we are in a position now where people will turn up to watch Leicester play and not just drool over Haaland et all..

I'm a stats and process man and feel like I've stuck to that mantra. I believe that performance and stats are a better indicator of where a team is at than results. Always about the process for me.

This is why you don't find me fickly jumping from one side to the other :D

If I see an improvement in our numbers then I'll be happier. For me, we're currently relying on luck and ability, which isn't sustainable. As I say, we'll see over the long term whether I'm right or wrong. If we continue to put up stats like this then I'd be shocked if I'm wrong.

You could be right, but I feel like I'm being quite logical on this line of thinking.

Personally, this is the the first game of the season l may enjoy.
Not expecting too much. No pressure. Just give it a real go & don’t roll over.
A point would be fantastic for moral. Simple.

I respect that, and I'm certainly not anti-stats either.

However, here's something to always remember - the scoreline is the ULTIMATE statistic.
