I think we’ve approached potential candidates (Tuchel, Poch etc) and they’re not interested so Top is going with what we’ve got. We could end up with a wolves type situation with Stowell in charge if we did.

 

we’ve hit a bit form and I am buzzing, that said, the way Rodgers approached the season and his behaviour in the media, it’s tough to win us back round. I’ll back him to stay but will never sing his name.

Nothing should be questioned more than the fickle mindedness of this so called loyal fan base. I have supported BR through all this mess and nothing pleases me more than seeing his own loyalty and hard work to turn this around. I was a long time joining the BR out brigade (after the Southampton game this season) so I'm not going to suddenly change my mind after a few better results. I don't think all the difficulties this season are down to him with all the stuff off the pitch (contracts running down and no signings), but I do think the club needs a shake up and refresh - and that should include a change of manager. 

 

He consolidated us and won an FA Cup so probably doesn't deserve some of the vitriol thrown at him, but he's become stale and predictable. He appears to be a big part of the problem now rather than the solution. 

 

Naturally I hope he proves me wrong as it would mean LCFC are back up the table. The other caveat is that we'll have to be very careful with the next appointment. It's likely to coincide with a squad rebuild that we can't afford to get wrong.

Support brendan but still call it a mess. Strange.
