Glad we've dismantled Brendan's Boys club. Hopefully makes him realise he's not untouchable and he (continues) to pull his socks up.

Hardly dismantled he got offered a better job it’s not like we’ve sacked him .

Ashvir Johal joins Latics as an “exciting, up-and-coming coach,” says Wigan’s statement confirming the appointments, having completed the Premier League Elite Coaching Scheme before starting his role at Leicester.

Having been at City's Academy for the last eight years, he will join the club as first-team coach and will link up with Toure once again, having worked with him and Rodgers at the King Power Stadium.

Played football against him as a youth. He wasn’t very good.

3 and half years contract from a club what has paid its players late on occasions this season, football is mad

Wigan fan here.
We have no financial problems whatsoever.
We do have a crap IT system that (a) seems to struggle with money transfers from abroad, and (b) getting tickets issued.
The late payments were IT related and the money was paid the following day - which of course wouldn't happen if there were problems.

while we have you...What areas do you guys need improvements in?

Id be very surprised if Kolo didnt tap into what appears to be our best crop of youngsters (possibly ever)  We all seem to think Braybrooke (cm) Mashwinise (wing/st), wormleighton (fb), brunt (cb/cdm) possibly even Alves (wing/cam) despite his age  are ready to play in the championship ... Surely Kolo will come in for a loan or 2.

I think Braybrooke would be as good if not better than dewsbury-hall was for luton so hed be the one id want if I was a tic.

Kolo was a big fan of Sidnei Tavares, what's the chances of a reunion, his move back to Portugal has been a disaster.

Thought your love affair had finished

oh come off it you were obviously implying there was an issue going on that would stop him from signing a 3 1/2 year deal…

That was more of a dig where they sacked a manager who was doing a perfectly decent job  recently

Good job he’s not going there as a player then.

I actually played football on the same team as him as a youth! I'm not sure I have the ability to throw stones at his ability though given my relative ability lol
