Right now, if we win, I'd gladly take 3 points and let Gillingham play in the 4th round instead of the usual format of these things.

Difference between Gillingham and Newport is that the latter were in decent form and really well drilled.

Gillingham are a shambles at the moment - noticed Colchester beat them recently and watched them two weeks ago play appallingly.

We went past MK Dons in a breeze whom were in a similar position

The only difference is the fact that we will play a much weaker side than in that game. Either way, we would have to seriously mess this up to get knocked out. Even replacing everyone in yesterday's starting XI with the remaining reserves and young players would make us favourites.

Comfortable 4-1 win.

For an older supporter, Harlow Town for me is the worse

I knew there was one way before my time, my Dad's mentioned it before. I think this must be second though.

Honestly we're in a bad place at the minute and I'm still pretty certain about this. 7 goals all season. Surely we can't.

We’ve got virtually no half-decent players left that are fit ….. and Newcastle QF and Forest up shortly. Let ‘those that can’ recover their fitness and play the goddamned kids/ressies!!!!

The exact same thing seemed to happen last year as well. I remember being livid we'd lost to Liverpool in the QF before Xmas but then soon realised that we'd have been buried in the semi final as we had absolutely no squad.

Castagne, Faes, Brunt, Thomas

          Mendy, Braybrooke*

 Albrighton, Perez, Maswanhise

                 Iheanacho

*If not available then Madivadua

Time for some rotation and to use at least a few of the kids, squad is getting decimated by injuries (again) and time to try and find out whether any of the kids can come into the first team

These lot are quite literally the worst team in the EFL, great chance to give some of the kids a go

...their league position will count for nothing in this game!!!

It will be a great distraction for them.

As a Gills fan, I can openly say that this is worst ever team to wear a Gills shirt.

We are expecting a spanking, we just need the cash to hopefully, get players to save us.

The Martin Allen Derby should be an interesting game lol

You’re going to win. We’re a ****ing state at the minute and the manager doesn’t give a shit

Just looked at the BBC weather forecast, and right on cue, the monsoon season is due to be at its peak on Saturday at midday in Gillingham.

Could be a Phoenix From The Flames based on the Notts County ZDS cup game in 1992, but not as much fun.

I dare say we will do, no chance they go either just Iheanacho in the squad.

Indeed.  This is a team at the bottom of League 2 for cripes sake, you should be able to beat them with the clubhouse cleaning staff.  Anyone whose fitness is remotely in question should be nowhere near this one.

Trust me we can't even score in the warm up. A team of 3 legged donkeys could easily beat us. ☹️

We are a magnet for injuries in cup competitions especially, I really hope that key players can be rested. Just so annoying our academy is also riddled with injuries to our best players as well.

I'd play Top in the hole

I got a feeling this heading for a replay. 1-1 we may even score first but end up slipping second half. Would anyone here be rushing out to buy tickets for a Tuesday night in January Fa Cup tie against a bottom League Two side.
