I’ve laughed my head off thru all 7 pages of this thread 🤣 this is why I love this club it’s the fans! God knows we’ve suffered these past weeks and months. desperately  Needed some comic relief with all the gloom & doom.

 

My take is Top’s visiting to see first hand how bad the mess is we’re in. There is no polishing this turd brand of football the team has been dishing out of late. Todgers is gonna ask for money and players. I just hope the board doesn’t try to sugar coat the crisis we’re in. Top must know it’s bad like real bad but he still has time to save us.

sell that bloody island if you have to Top get your wallet out and sign some players!

All I ask of Top is please take off the rose tinted spectacles and approach this as black and white business decision, take into account Brendan’s precious track record at clubs ….

 

1) Brendan has a reputation and proven track record that once he gets to season 3 the wheels fall off……well guess what it’s season 4 now and the wheels have long gone

 

2) We were top 5 two seasons in a row and won the FA Cup with preferred formations of 4-1-4-1 or 4-2-3-1 with an enforced switch to 3-5-2 due to injuries. Last season we switched to Brendan’s preferred 4-3-3 and since then our regression has accelerated 

 

3) West Brom at home, 3-0 up at half time and Brendan has a hissy fit, we revert to Brendan ball for the 2nd half and control possession, this was the writing on the wall that Brendan ball was going to full implementation mode, guess what, that again has been another accelerator in our decline. 
 

4) You have allowed Brendan to revamp the medical department which has played  a significant part in the what has been an horrendous injury record in the last 3 or so seasons. 
 

 

5) You backed Brendan from a recruitment prospective, bringing in his mate and former colleague from Celtic in Congerton, he presided over a summer where we retained all our key assets and spent the most net spend in a transfer window and this again was pretty poor 

 

6) He has frozen out players and his judgement at best is questionable, any manager who truly believes Danny Ward is an adequate replacement for a club legend and leader in Kasper should not be afforded any more opportunity to refresh the squad. 

 

7) six months after two top finishes and an FA Cup win, Brendan called out that the squad needed a refresh, he then started to talk down the club, fast forward 12 months and he has single handedly destroyed the confidence, spirit and togetherness of the club, gone is the Fearless Foxes, Foxes Never Quit and most importantly that family connection and togetherness that existed between the players, management, owners and supporters. We have become a shell of that club and that is on Rodgers.

 

Please do not trust Rodgers any longer with the reigns of this football club, we are now halfway through the season and have played 19 games, this has included a losing steak of 6 games at the beginning of the season and then now another losing streak of 4 games, enough is enough this is now the norm and the good form is the anomaly. 
 

Look at the evidence, look at his record at his former clubs and you will see the same pattern, he becomes stale, his tactics become predictable, injuries, form falling off the edge of a cliff, player discontent, poor recruitment and constant battling with the club via the media when things start to go wrong. History is repeating itself now at Leicester City, heed the warning signs, make the change and let’s start the rebuild required to get this club back operating as a club with a defined model and identity. Top do it today and see the immediate lift.

I have had a fiver at 22/1 for him to be the next manager to leave. The bookies don’t think it will happen but for Top to fly over something might be brewing. I doubt it but you never know

Furthermore, this evening, Top will be relaxing and scrolling through FoxesTalk and come to his senses.  Brendan will be relieved of his duties after the Brighton game.  You heard it here first!

I think it’s more likely that Top had Brendan in the secret Santa and he’s delivering his gift in person a little late. No chance he gets the sack right now.

Just putting 2+2 together and no doubt getting 387 and my hopes up but @themightyfindid drop a hint or two that things weren’t good in the camp and the Newcastle game was seen as more significant and important to the club than many had anticipated. Maybe the board had agreed if we lost against Forest then Brendan would be gone, as Top has now flown into the country and also Fin was posting next Leicester manager betting, as another cryptic clue. I am probably miles off but I am clinging onto this hope for now 😂😂
