Bet he goes to Everton if bielsa goes there

AjcW Posted 24 January 2023 Posted 24 January 2023 My point is I never understand the constant “howwww muchh” as if we’re not aware of transfer fees these days How much do you think we’d try and get for Barnes
ealingfox Posted 24 January 2023 Posted 24 January 2023 Expectation management en route to 'Junior Stanislas to Leicester, here we go! Loan with obligation to buy for £20m, contract signed and delivered, wages 95k per week' 1 3
lanefox Posted 24 January 2023 Posted 24 January 2023 He's not as bad as some are making out but like most have said nowhere near worth £35 million 2
weller54 Posted 24 January 2023 Posted 24 January 2023 Rather George Harrison... and he's been dead for over 20 years. 2
Dusty Posted 24 January 2023 Posted 24 January 2023 Would be a similar sort of transfer to Lookman imo, definitely not worth £35m but would be a good squad/rotation option. Need a first class right winger first tho. 4

stu Posted 24 January 2023 Posted 24 January 2023 Didn't realise he was left footed, so that is a tick. His ability to press from the front and his high work ethic would be welcomed, so as a Loan or a reasonable fee I wouldn't be against this However, the fact he plays on the left for Leeds and where we are in the transfer window screams of a pure panic buy to me if we were to pay that much, if there is any truth in this. Let's face it, its a lot more realistic than Tete or Gonzalez. 1
Aleksz Posted 24 January 2023 Posted 24 January 2023 Would be real nice but not at that kind of money.
FoxinNotts Posted 24 January 2023 Posted 24 January 2023 Preparing for life in the championship. Giving £35m to our relegation rivals to strengthen their squad with, whilst we blow our budget on a none prioritised position. Good work.
Lcfc098 Posted 24 January 2023 Posted 24 January 2023 I've never seen him play RW for Leeds so perfect signing for us then. 1 1
Aleksz Posted 24 January 2023 Posted 24 January 2023 Anything more than 25m just strikes as a Perez kind of deal. Which I hope we’ve learned from. There’s not great value for money shopping in the premier league at our level. 1

Yes I think i'd want more than i'd be willing to pay for Jack Harrison. Barnes has a goal or assist every 162 minutes in the Premier League versus Jack Harrison who has a goal or assist every 229 minutes. 2
LCCFox96 Posted 24 January 2023 Posted 24 January 2023 Harrison as a left wing option would be a welcome addition to back up/rotate with Barnes - similar to the links with Jaidon Anthony at Bournemouth. Both players have a lot of qualities to admire and have decent PL numbers but simply put they aren't top, top priorities for us and we won't be splashing such a huge wedge of cash on a lower priority transfer. Spending £35mil on Harrison this window would be madness. If he was available for a much cheaper fee that still enabled us to sign our CB and RW targets, or he was available on loan, I wouldn't be against it. It's one of those where its the circumstance and timing of the deal I'm against rather than the player per se. 1
Shane Posted 24 January 2023 Posted 24 January 2023 He has similar attributes to Albrighton in his prime. Works hard, presses high, decent cross, 94th percentile for tackles, etc. He’s one to consider in the summer when his pricetag will be considerably lower. He’s not a right winger but he’d provide competition for Barnes and we need some tenacity and aggression in all areas which Harrison could help provide. 1
South Shire Fox Posted 24 January 2023 Posted 24 January 2023 The sort of signing that would sum up why the club is in the mess it is 3

Probably a lot more than Jack "Penalty Area? Never heard of it mate" Harrison. 2
LVFox Posted 24 January 2023 Posted 24 January 2023 Always thought he's massively underrated, but they've put a 3 instead of a 1 in that article.
HighPeakFox Posted 24 January 2023 Posted 24 January 2023 Obvious red herring for Nathan Redmond. Am I getting the BS right? 1
