Unless you are one of the absolute elites, or scattergun Chelsea, that's the way it goes. It took Man United 3 weeks to bring in Wout Weghorst! This stuff applies to almost all clubs.

That's true, but their clubs spending set up is a lot more ruthless than ours.

I wonder if we chained Top, or Rudkin, or Rodgers, or Top/Rodgers, Rodgers/Rudkin & Top/rudkin in chains and gagged them - which one of those not gagged and not in chains would be most efficient in spending the clubs money?

I should add a caveat that this question isn't related to Rodgers and his excellent player signings, just money flow.

Very much would sign him, props up all over the frontline for rangers is always dangerous and I think with better players around him will improve massively. Him and a rw in before Tuesday would see us equipped to stave off relegation in the goals scored front!

He’s the kind of player that gets slated when we’re linked with, signs for someone else and does well. Wouldn’t mind him as a cheap back up option.

Or maybe just stop friggin about and sign someone from 1st to 15th choice on our list of preferred wingers . We spent two windows chasing Madueke only abandoning matters when it was too late each time and he’s now joined Chelsea for under £30 mill who weren’t even in the frame when we were looking at him

Some of the snobbishness in here lol Imagine if we were linked with Albrighton of 2014 tomorrow.

-he's crap

-championship standard

-why's Villa let him go free then, ay

I agree people are quick to forget the success we had with supposed average signings.

His form is wildly irratic. Will play well one game in five and that's playing week in week out at a level miles off the PL.

Getting game time sporadically as a back up in the EPL is a whole different world and he's not good enough for it.

it does seem odd that Gerrard didn’t go for him at villa. If he was that good, you’d have thought he’d have wanted to get him

Especially given the fact that he would have been privy to his contract situation and would have known he could have gotten him cheap.

Ah yes. Get all excited about a Brazilian winger and  sign some lad from Scotland. That’s the Leicester way..

Arbroath.

It’s just like watching Arbroath.

Don't get all the negativity. I've watched this guy loads (one YouTube Video) and he looks dynamic, two footed, skillful, quick etc
