I’m with you but if Sottar is not over the injury he won’t be in the squad let alone the starting eleven. We have a lot of games to come. I’d love to see tete and victor start but it just isn’t Brendan’s way. You never know though. Even their presence on the bench may spark others to up their game though.

I've had a slight renewed sense of optimism this week with the new signings. Now the dust has settled and the game is getting closer, I can't help remembering all of the current problems with our team. Unfortunately I can't see them going away overnight and thoroughly expect us to lose this :(

As much as I want to see the new signings play, it's important they are introduced correctly.

 

Not sure if Kristiansen is match fit, but I'd still take him over a fully fit Thomas.

 

I think we'll see Tetê introduced later in the game.

 

Would prefer to see Tetê starting though. Need the energy and threat going foward.

Tetê is here for 18 PL matches. We need to make the most of him as soon as possible, but expect a 65 minute change when we’re losing. Kristiansen was better than Thomas immediately for his appearance at Walsall, so would like to see him start. Souttar will be match fit, but I fear we may have to persist with Amartey for the most part. Saying that last sentence makes me want to sell my tickets 😂😂😂

I would be surprised if Souttar makes the squad having missed the last two games with a minor hip injury. It’ll be absolutely criminal if Kristiansen and Tete don’t start. But we all know that Rodgers has real good form for not instantly putting the new signings in for a full debut.

There’s absolutely no excuse for him to be “not ready”. He’s played half a season with Lyon.
