Oh dear. Oh deary me

You're calling the greatest opportunity the club ever had or will have to join the top table of English football, ending in relegation instead  ...  a bad spell.

Ok.

Essence of post, we were in league one 15 years ago.

And that has literally zero relevance what so ever to the situation we find ourselves in today.

We have a top 7 wage bill, squad stacked with internationals and one of the highest paid managers in world football.

If we go down it will be the worst and most humiliating relegation in premier league history.

Something that would forever stain our club and those involved in it

Ok.

We’ve been through worse and we’re not relegated far from it, as the headline says keep the faith.

Well I must say you've convinced me. Maybe it doesn't matter that we've got a shit manager, just so long as we keep our blind optimism and catchy soundbites.

Faith in what? Even if we manage to stay up we will lose Tielemens, Maddison in the summer and it will be down to Rodgers to to replace them. He’s already spent more than any other manager in our history and look at the pathetic state of our squad.

No faith needed. Sack the idiot and it'll be fine. Atm were lay on the floor bleeding out whilst stabbing ourselves in the chest and telling the paramedics to p*so off.

We will get what we deserve.

Even madders and nacho might not have enough without youris magic

Wether this bad spell is because of poor management or just poor performances or just sheer bad luck, it doesn’t matter we are Leicester we will get through this as we’ve been through worse. Up the City

Love the sentiment and will not shit on you for saying it.

I'm just beyond misery watching this and seeing no change.

It's almost like we are running a social experiment to see just how much shit football fans can take before we burn the stadium to the ground.

They thought Puel was rubbish *rubs hands with glee*

To keep the faith you’ll need a team to show some. You can’t keep the faith with 0 shots on target after 250 minutes of premier league football. You keep the faith when there is no passion, creativity, desire in a team. You can’t keep the faith when a manager doesn’t know what to do and admits after one game that the payers didn’t go with the game plan.

I kept the faith when we were a drift at the bottom in 14/15 because they showed the opposite of now. We were unlucky in some games, just even when we lost the players kept going and you could see the effort. Now, just looks like a bunch going: meh, why should I care and a manager that is thinking the same it feels.

"Now Blackadder, I want you to go over the wire at dawn tomorrow when Jerry is still asleep...."

There's keeping the faith and there's self destruction. I think most know where we are at.

I don't mind keeping the faith if everyone is pulling in the same direction and you can see that a good game plan, intent and fight just isn't quite paying off. This is far beyond that, the team has no identity, the playing style doesn't suit and is probably detrimental to the squad we have spent some serious money in fees and wages on, we have a soft under belly, no leaders and we have are about to lose some of our better players for next to nothing or nothing. Some times sh*t needs to hit the fan for drastic steps to be taken and lessons to be learnt. This isn't just a bad period that started since the world cup, or a bad run of fixtures that we will come out of. The writing has been on the wall for at least 18 months on the pitch, and longer with actions from the club off the field. The club has been too complacent. Whatever comes at the end of the season will ultimately be down to them and the faith and finances they have put in a manager who has, minus an FA Cup win, taken us so far backwards in so many areas. I don't know the financial implications of relegation, but I feel like everyone needs a massive f***ing wake up and if relegation is what is required for people within the club to be held accountable then so be it because this cannot continue.
