I think it’s clearly obvious that JJ has never recovered to the player he was before his injuries and is showing no signs that he ever will. Lost that pace and agility that made up for a lack of footballing brain. It’s a shame because he seems to have a good temperament and attitude. Sadly, out of his depth at the moment.

What happened with the 2nd goal? He pulled out like he heard a call, but I sit right by that part of the pitch and heard nothing. Is their something I’m missing?

This is where you need your team calling you to say you've got someone over your shoulder. And if that's not happening, then it's equally as bad as Justin not just simply looking over it as a cursory look every few seconds.

His positional sense is bad enough at times anyway but what he did today is a droppable offence. I wouldn't expect Ward to help him out because he's so inept too. But Justin should be dealing with it even if there was no-one coming in back post. He's too far out to have let it go out if that's what he was thinking.

Shocking decision but surely he had something? He's probably guilty of trying to get something on it all the time (especially when you're in dreadful form), so I find it hard to believe he just left it without any info from his teammates (Ward).

He left it. Looking back there’s no call from Ward. He just hasn’t checked over his shoulder…..

I wonder if it was the Wolves player that shouted leave it andJJ assumed it was Ayew.

JJ was rightly marking a man towards the centre of the box as the play shifted to our left and facing play he didn’t know that Ayew had let his player wonder off behind him, it just seemed an unnatural movement by JJ to not have heard a shout of some kind.

Just looked at the replay and there is no way Ward makes a call. Its far to far away from him and JJ would have been able to see where Ward was. I don't hear anything on the replay either but then there is lots of crowd noise etc. Even though he's out of form, it was a really off choice from JJ.

You don't need a replay to know Ward didn't make a call. He hasn't made a single call in his career here.

Ay let's not forget the one call he did make to Faes away at Liverpool, who didn't listen and sliced it in

Sums up where is brain is, all over the place. He must have seen the Wolves player before but he seems to just forget he's there in the moment.

He didn’t see him at all.

The replay on MOTD2 showed Ayew look at him and let him wander past him without saying anything, JJ doesn’t look over his shoulder at any point.

Back to basics.

If you’re a fullback, you’ve got to be aware of what’s around you, if the ball is going past you, put it away.

This guy earns weekly what some of us do in a year and can’t do the basics of defending such as looking behind him when a ball is crossed. He did the same at Newcastle last week.

The majority of our goals conceded this season have been down the right side but yet it still isn’t being addressed.

Are all of our players simply that idiotic that they need instructing to do the basics!!!

Quite frightening how many goals he's been at fault for this season. Such a shame as he looked a real player before his injury issues but he's like a rabbit in headlights at this level now

Got to be at least 8 or 9 goals he’s been at fault for

It wasn't an excuse, I was just saying that before his injury he had potential and looked like he'd become a good player for us. You can't say he's always been shit, because that's just not true.
