I do love the way they have tried every possible angle and even the arms folded to ensure the FBS is covered and not shown at any part of the video.

It’s the intro to the 4min vid of him talking

An excellent signing and one I would have been happy with had we made it last summer - welcome Harry!

overrun a lot of midfielders in this division. And whilst neither is that creative, we will be making chances through system football,

Yup, agree. I think Rodgers got left behind in the thinking that we have to have a creative player to create.

PL or Championship, We need (needed) fitness first. That fits into a system. Then, at the end, finessed with talent.

I remember Wes or Liam Moore after their first PL game v Everton commenting how fast and strong (I'm guessing in terms of how hard to knock off balance)  their opponents were compared to championship. I'm hoping we see this sesson hard running, players with superior balance and strength and  streetwise off the ball movement. All of that will outperform a creative playmaker for this season.

All the championship are running scared now, we are going to romp the league😁

The replies to the original sky sports link on twitter saw a wave of EFL fans lamenting the unfairness of FFP, absolutely devastated that we could be making this kind of signing - and this is just 1 guy - wait til the other 12 lads are announced.

Spurs are my least favourite team but even i saw the potential winks had when he first broke through - i guess anything could happen but if he can rediscover his mojo then....look out!

I was super excited about Tete and that didn't work out.

I think it's hard to know who is a good signing.

I think it's fair to say that Winks has a slightly more convincing CV than Teté

I was underwhelmed by Wes Morgan at the time so.....

It’s tricky to know whether it’s a good signing or not. Some of us, including me, have got to get out of the Premier League mindset.

If we’d signed him last year we’d probably all agree it’s a very underwhelming signing - but we’re in the Championship now. At that level he might well be better than most in the league

If we'd signed him last year, he'd have cost twice as much, too.

Surly Coady (if any new recruit)?

Really, all accounts seem to suggest that he's quite personable?

No idea if it will work out but I would be really pleased if he does well here for another underdog story!

...not sure why he has the #8 jersey, surely he comes in as a #6, and if that is not the case is Wilf still an option!!!

Gustavo Hamer could be an option to bring in to be #6, I like his tenacity and running. We do need a creative player in the team to unlock defences, whoever we pick up will be a surprise I would think.

Seems a very Rodgers type signing.
A neat and tidy player. Not convinced by him and will be another one who’ll lack the physicality needed in the championship. Hope I’m wrong.

I'd say that he's more a Pearson type signing. Has to be better than Tielemans 2022/23. Keep him fit and he should do well for us. Decent signing in the circumstances.

Surprised by 3yrs at 27. Wonder if that was his decision or ours.

Either way, welcome! Interesting to see him as an 8 which suggests he’s Youri’s replacement more than the DM.

Looking forward to seeing our number 8 being able to run around the pitch and not catching his breath after 15mins!

Good luck Winks lad

Would be more difficult to find a player worse than tielemans last season. I hope he does well for us but I’m not convinced.
