I think the £10m euro figure is to save face their end with their fans, no way we are paying that most likely £6m euros at most.

You'd imagine they will have asked for exactly the same as Mavididi given the spell Yunus had on loan, and i'm fine with that level to be honest.

Was Coached by Vincenzo Montella who is also Italian. Enzo will know what he’s getting. Loan with option to buy is a no brainer. GET HIM IN.

Key here is the "option" part. Obligation and they can f**k off to be quite honest, especially with how Turkish clubs consistently behave in the transfer market.

Should we be able to negotiate effectively and have the terms of any prospective deal suit us (as highly doubtful as that is), then there is no reason to have a look at this lad. Could be a gem, but if he's as bad as Under and we can send him back at the end of the season then there is little risk. By no means want an obligation though, and even less so at 10m!!

This, Italy is notoriously small so they must know each other.

Plausible Enzo has had him on the blower though

They do in fact know each other, Enzo was his assistant at Sevilla.

I knew someone was going to wheel something like this out, which is much more logical than just because they are both Italian lol

Agreed that we need to take a few gambles, just if 10 million euros in the price, that's not the price I want to be paying on a punt.

If it was 2/3 million euros with add ons should he reach certain appearances, with reasonable wages then I'd be happy. I'm just thinking, we need to be able to move a player on if it doesn't work out.

Manhoef is the sort of player we should be taking a punt on.

If we can loan Akgun with a OTB then great, do it. Otherwise no.

Loan with option is a no brainer, covers a few positions should be ok at this level, when he turns out to be our next right wing flop we can send him back. If it was obligation to buy this would be brain dead even for Leicester.

Oh bloody hell, Enzo getting sacked for inappropriate salutes just when we are on track to win it all. Delete.

In Austria that is illegal.

I mean, such is the tragic state of our squad, Castagne is probably our best RW (if you discount Ricardo as he's playing elsewhere.)

So tbh yeah, I hope he is back in the squad if he's still here when the window closes.

Didn't he start the very first friendly at RW and there's a quote floating round somewhere from someone like Tanner or Percy suggesting Maresca quite likes him?

I think he's the most likely to be back in the side. Souttar would probably require an injury crisis and Daka would have to really prove himself off the bench.

He did play but he was miles off the pace and playing like he was in a dream world - no surprise that he's not been involved in a matchday squad. But, i agree, if he's still here, he's a pro and will probably just enjoy the buzz of playing in this team right now.

Go on then, i'll bite, as i'm bored!......

I'd hardly call it 'bloated'. We have 26 senior players, that includes 4 goalies, of which 2 probably won't be named in the Championship squad come-what-may, so there is wriggle room.

Never understood the obsession with having to keep to a certain number, knowing full well, you could easily take a very small risk, get someone in before gettting others out!

I'm sure this will get pelters in response!

...I have often thought the same, the only problem if you do bring someone in is that if you do not sell!!!

We do not want to increase the wage bill, so we would be taking a risk and FFP is a big problem for us.
