If those were prem teams we would have been rolled over with the amount of chances they had- both games. If we can win  both when not even out of second gear, it would be a crime if we don’t  get automatic promotion…

Let's face it, plenty of us predicted an iffy start as the squads lacking in certain areas, pre-season seemed a bit of a farce and injuries already occurring. 

 

We've won 3 in a week. If this is us starting slowly and will get better then put me down as a yes, Carol.

Win is a win but play like that against better teams and they will get beat. Everything takes 2 or 3 extra touches then it needs to be. Got to be so much quicker.

Imperative to start this season well and we have. Two hard fought wins as well - one in a local derby and the other away at a Warnock side (he still hates us) - which is pleasing

That’s a big positive.

Yep, sadly plenty of fans seem to forget this, and forget that not all 46 games will be easy on the eye. Even Burnley last season in their dominance, weren't always so on the pitch. 

 

Ultimately its a clean sheet and 3 points against a physical and aggressive side. Possession football doesn't always work against those kinds of sides but it has today.

Sign of a good team who win when far from their best, more players to leave and come in who will no doubt be more suited to how Enzo wants us to play. 
 

3 wins out of 3 and only conceded once, with still lots to improve on, that is a really positive position to be in.

Probably going to play against that sort of game plan a lot this season. Not pretty but you've gotta grind them ones out!

 

Additionally, I'd like to offer some form of apology to Faes. I have not been his biggest fan in recent times but he was absolutely superb today. Fair play Slideshow Bob, we eating humble pie for dinner at castle longy tonight.
