They will all beat each other, not really a surprise if either team beats each other home or away in that group.

Hitting the woodwork twice and Wilson missing an absolute sitter has cost them. Another night they could have won that.

Now we'll see what Newcastle have got....Tonali ban incoming and seemed to lose Issak and Murphy last night to longer term injuries

Hopefully they have nothing

Why did Rodgers hold his hand up while Simeone wasn’t even looking.

A normal person would have given him a tap on the back and then shook his hand. He really is an odd bloke isn’t he.

It wasn't even that cold lol

Rodgers was so desperate for it lol

Reminds me of when we played Roma and how desperate he was to suck up to Mourinho rather than winning the matches. Clueless twat.

Newcastle have been pretty awful in this group bar the PSG game. The Dortmund games have surprised me a lot, I thought they'd be ideal opposition for Newcastle but I've gotten them a bit wrong, they aren't what I thought they were.

Newcastle need to drop the “needs to be the right fit” act and just buy some squad players in January. I think Howe and Ashworth are dead against it but they clearly need players.

I mean they would have been if they didn’t have half the squad out lol

Europa league for Newcastle?

is that for sure? I know they are changing it next season

Unlike in previous seasons, there is no drop down of teams from the Champions League to the Europa League after the league phase. Once eliminated, your European season is over.

Yep this is the last season it happens where 3rd-place drop into Europa League.

Nice to see one of my favourite ex Leicester managers in the studio watching the team managed by my least favourite .  Also I note Rodgers got his "haven't got the resources" excuse in before the match started, just to boost the confidence of his players.
