Apologies for sounding slightly negative but I hate this sort of debate.

Nobody here has even the slightest clue what goes on within the executive at LCFC.

How anybody could side with anyone I have no idea.

Did we make huge mistakes to end up getting relegated? Yes.

Have we overpaid for players? Yes.

Have we given ridiculous contracts to extremely average players? Yes.

Exactly which bits fall within the remit of which executives is pure speculation, however. Rudkin clearly had a role here but equally we've done some decent business that he is likely involved in.

I understand we're annoyed at being relegated and we wish the transfer market was like championship manager 01 and we could just sell everybody that hasn't performed, but the reality of club ownership and management is rather more mundane. There's no point in speculating and getting het up over what is basically imaginary job roles and responsibilities.

This argument of who is responsible is well and truly cooked on here. Best we wait until Foxes Trust report back on their promised meeting with the Club….

What do you feel is the solution going forwards a change of the guard? New impetus ? New ownership?

Copy the common sense model of Brighton which is dont buy anyone whos older then mid 20s so that all players have re sale value. Pick up older experienced players on frees who have played at the very top level to nurture the young lads. Basically buy young talented players, develop them then sell them for a big profit then repeat. Dont get tied down with deadwood like weve been fcked over with by Rodgers and his side kick Congerton signing Prem players who’re 28/29 years old. Run it like a business.

I wonder what their review found? If they ever did one.

That all out failings were down to stowell and his inability to teach a keeper to kick 😂

There is nothing wrong with our ownership.

I realize mistakes have been made but better the devil you know than the devil you don't .

New DoF and a replica of the Brighton recruitment model. Plus a re-vamp of the academy.

The major issue of chopping out the Dead -wood require several more windows to resolve.

I mean, Brighton's model isn't exactly their model. Also what people seem to ignore is that there's a best-before date on that recruitment strategy working long-term. You will always end up becoming a victim of your own success. After we signed the likes of Kanté and Mahrez for peanuts and both of them turned out to be world-class, clubs suddenly started paying more attention when we asked about their players.

The very same thing is happening to Brighton right now. They got turned down with a 30m offer for a 19 yr old midfielder with 20 senior appearances. If this is the Brighton from 2-3 years ago, they get a deal done for 15m and move on with their day. Now however they're under much more pressure for those signings to actually turn out well or otherwise they're going to be stuck with players nobody wants to buy.

Should we tap into other markets e.g the South American market? Absolutely! Should we refocus our recruitment on finding gems and young talents? Obviously.

It's easy to go and say "well duh just do it like Brighton"

Precisely.

And that’s why Big Sooz has questions to answer.

Club comms is fvcking dreadful.

But then we do know Little Jon’s shortcomings. And we do know there’s not been a flood of cash to make up for the last two seasons.

So, I remain, all of them out.
