At least one thing that's come out of this relegation is all the media noise is universally panning the ownership and management of this club. This is not down to circumstance, it should not have happened.

If this doesn't force SOME change, nothing will. There's a real risk we go down to League 2 and more fatal repurcussions for the future. I don't think anyone can underplay it anymore

To the owner, senior management and players at Leicester City.
You've got exactly what you deserve.
It's been an utter shitshow.
Gutless, spineless, rudderless.
Hang your heads in shame.
Dereliction of duty.

A senior club source told me recently: “This is what happens when you treat so many people so badly. You reap what you sow.” #lcfc

I get a bit sick of this “I know what’s going on behind the scenes” vague posting.

Just as I was randomly checking our season's Wiki page:

LCFC Wiki 2026-04-22.png

It should read “Leicester City have experienced their worst championship/division 2 season ever and yet they still managed to do the double over Derby”.

Simmer down sheep shaggers. We could go into exile for a few years and still win a title sooner than your lot.

That would be quite funny.

However, there's no way that is real – and definitely not done by any Cov fans. All the words are spelt correctly and even the comma is spot on.

Unfortunately this is what happens when you're perceived as cheating I guess

British culture. So mind numbing to just exist that anyone trying to break out of mediocrity is painted a villain. Sad acts

AI, it's the UFS Derby banners from years ago. There's no way those thickos would think that up or have the braincells to make it/get it made and hang it.

I've seen an alarmingly high number of comments citing the sacking of Ranieri as the main reason we deserve relegation. I wasn't previously aware of how that (absolutely correct) decision had deeply hurt so many fans of other clubs, but apparently it did.

That and us having the gall to sack Ranieri. Should have been happy with relegation.

Literally just posted about that. This whole fiasco has taught me that I have 0 authority to comment on other clubs' situation as you just have 0 idea of the context

I mean, didn't we reach some sort of settlement with the EFL after overspending, in the 2014 promotion?

We 'breached' in 22/23 and potentially 23/24 but got away with it on technicalities and loop holes - Leeds particularly, who didn't go up in 2024 would rightly feel aggrieved.

We breached in 2025 and got a points deduction.

So, we did 'cheat' didn't we?

would happen with any 'big club' at any level

Look at how the country is united behind trying to get Spurs down

I can understand that, kind of, from their point of view. Pretty much everyone loved us winning the league, and literally everyone loved Ranieri. Then because they're not Leicester fans they're unaware of how badly we're doing the next season and the next thing they hear about us is that we've sacked that lovely twinkly Italian man who won us the league. So from an outsider's view it probably looked cruel and ungrateful.
