He’s shit let’s be honest. Riddled with errors and defensive calamities.

Play him in CDM and he’ll get you down to 10 men, play him right back and you can bet your bottom dollar he’s losing his man at the back post 3-4 times a game.

Just not someone I want anywhere near the XI.

if he starts at right back I don't think anyone has an issue with that anymore, he seems to have found a role there that really suits his attributes

Whilst he has a questionable attitude off the pitch with his scandals the one thing clicked for me with him today was he gets it. Armband on in that huddle he orchestrated everyone coming over near the city end for it. All game he was shouting encouraging, especially the two young lads and at the end leading the walk over to the fans. He will always get his criticism from a section of our fans as he isn't a world beater but my god the boy gets it and is worth his weight in gold in this division.

If he got it he wouldn’t have been caught a lockdown party, drunk driving etc.

He’s a prat, but better footballer than someone like skipp

In a purely on the pitch football sense he gets it. If you judged footballers by their off the pitch antics then you could probably count on one hand the amount who get it by that definition.

Ultimate Jekyll and Hyde performance that. The focus was rightly on the midfield but Hamza was absolutely shocking in that first half; giving the ball away, putting teammates under pressure, constantly turning back etc. Second half bar one brain fade near the start, he was excellent so credit where it's due. He'll give you some fight at least but it's not going to be a great sign if we have to rely on him as a starter this year

He seemed to do OK at Sheff U at RB on loan. I like him in CM but he has a bad habit of playing with no confidence for us and passing it backwards when in midfield or even dropping so deep, lining up with the central defenders. His positional sense is so dodgy for a player that could be so much better
