This guy is national league level!

In his mind he's CL level. Even when he loses possession he strolls about as if his sheer presence will prevent any further danger. Mental he's on so much money. Needs binning off sooner than most. Forget the long term connection.

The amount of passes he makes to no one, I'm starting think he might be hallucinating.

Nah, just pissed

He's being properly pimped.

Which he's better at than football to be fair.

Hope everyone going next season is ready to see this shithouse as captain and playing every single game lol

I'm not sure we should hate on him for not having ability. He works hard. There's many other posters worthy of our wrath.

He is, however, symptomatic of a series of completely shambolic decision making that the board has done.

He has been a mid table (Arguably generous) championship player for the vast majority of his career, and yet he has spent the majority of his career at a Premier League club, earning Premier League wages.

Then, when we need someone to play to a "Mid table" championship level, he is unable to do so, because the culture of the club is not about improving players, it's about inflating their wages & ego, whilst inflicting zero accountability for under performance.

Hamza tries hard, sure. Any reputable club however would've let him go and try hard somewhere at a more appropriate standard about 6 years ago.

When he announced that he’ll stay on its for his own ego trip, deep down he knows that’s his level so he’ll be the main man.

Won’t be long before the swagger comes back and he thinks he’s Paolo Maldini

He said that and then quickly backtracked in his next interview a couple of days later when asked about it. Said that these things often get taken out your hands.

Works hard but also:

- Has been fined for offensive tweets

- Posted other controversial tweets but avoided punishment

- Attended a COVID party and was dropped as a result

- Is a convicted drunk driver

On top of being a grossly overpaid underperformer.

Only at our club - sounds like a prime candidate for the 1st team

Unsure what his salary will be and I doubt he will be likely to take a pay cut, think he will be off to Sheff Utd along with Harry Souttar as we can't afford to have him on the books

The bar is in hell isn't it, a player that has been consistently involved with the total dismantling of the football club is labelled as "not one of the problems".

When will it end Robbie!

Came into the squad at a time we had many excellent players and has somehow managed to earn a fortune contributing relatively little.

I don't hate him but I don't want him at my football club. Even in league 1 he will offer nothing beyond a little bit of work rate and being quite fast at tracking back. But his ability on the ball, decision making and vision is non existent. We need to move on.

I actually disagree with this. I think he’s going to be exactly what we need in division1. It’s different gravy down there.. teams are going to try and kick us off the park and out muscle us, and we are going to need people who can give it back. Forget about skill and technical ability, the forwards are big lumps, the defenders have more teeth than IQ and if we think we are going to be able to play our way out of the division, we are going to be mistaken. We will have to out muscle, out work and out tackle the opposition. Those might be his only skills, but that’s exactly what we need in division1

This is the same cope that we all repeated last season.  Do you think he will play any differently? Slow at the back, passing sideways and backwards at every opportunity? At least there will be no VAR again so he might get lucky with his fouls and pull backs, like Thomas.

These clowns won’t play any differently than they did last season.
