Really hope he gets himself a good gig in America or Saudi Arabia so everyone can just look back and appreciate what he's done.

Him and Albrighton should lift the trophy this summer lol

Let's get Morgan, Izzett, O'Neil, Elliott and Walsh to come and lift it as well, they will have contributed about the same to this season.

Still amazed and thankful we can look back on  a simply wonderful player who was central to the major honours our club has won. Stayed when could have gone to Arsenal. Even if we had not won anything to have a player playing so many matches and scored so many goals in the modern game is fantastic. So often in the past a player would make a name for themselves only to go to  a so called glamour club. Would love for he and Marc to lift another trophy in May

Probably my favourite LCFC player of all time. The word “legend” is often overused, but it was written for someone like Jamie Vardy.

That said all good things must come to an end. One thing is for certain and that is we can’t be offering him a contract on anything like the terms he’s on now. That money will be well spent on helping us secure our squad next season.

Do we keep him on reduced terms? If we do get promoted then I’m not sure he’s still the man for another shot at the Premier League. He’d only be a bit part player at best. Unless his overall role changes with some “off pitch” duties. If we manage to cock up promotion from here then he might be useful as a squad player if he’s happy with that.

Personally hoping that we get promoted, JV leaves for a big pay day in the states and Rebekah becomes a New York or LA socialite and social media icon. That would be a satisfactory end to an incredible era

A subjective shout of course, but our most important ever player for me.

Promotion back to the PL is the perfect send off. Hopefully he can then go to the States or similar for a final payday.

As its a special case he should get a one-year extension for one last dance next season.

After that it needs to be a statue outside the ground or the East Stand is renamed the Jamie Vardy Stand for its redevelopment, or both.

Seems wrong to say it but we have to let his contract expire. He's not going to be up to it in the Prem and he becomes yet another distraction/blocker to somebody else's career path.

Will always be THE GOAT in my opinion, but it’s time to move on for both parties. Legend. Won’t think bad of him taking a few million from Saudi or the MLS, because he’s no longer what we need in the Premier League - should we return.

Give him a year on reduced wages as 4th choice with a career path to coaching if that's what he wants to do.

I think he still has a run of form in him, and Maresca obviously sees some value as he has still been involved alot this season.

Of course if he can get some Saudi or MLS money then he should go for it.

She's had her big run on social media :S

One I'm sure Jamie would prefer not to repeat.

I don’t think he’d want to hang around if he knows he’s not up to it in the PL.

Doesn’t strike me as somebody who’d enjoy the Middle East, the US seems the best fit if he does move on.

I think we should at least wait till the end of the season till we come to any conclusion about whether we re-sign him or not. There are a lot of people writing him off on here but i think he's still our best striker.
