Sven Sad News released on Talksport

Hearing that the Legend that is Sven GE collapsing whilst out for a run Drs have told him he has terminal Cancer and only about a year left to live, the man is a true England and Leicester Legend  Talksport released the News this morning  thoughts to Sven and his family !

Yeah just seen it on bbc. Really sad news. Wouldn’t call him a Leicester legend but it was a weird and crazy time while he was manager and while he did spend a lot on rubbish, he did sign Schmeichel, Nugent and to a lesser extent Konchesky who ended up being worth many times more to us than his total transfer outlay combined.

Awful news. He may not be a Leicester legend but I was genuinely excited when he rocked up here. What a turbulent but interesting period that was.

 

Okay, so his England team only made it to the quarter finals of international tournaments but there were some incredible moments peppered in there. And that daft song about him, not to mention his off-the-field - ahem - exploits with the ladies.

 

He's a major figure in the game and, actually, a great example of someone who just enjoys his life and knows how to do so. I hope he sticks around for as long as possible, as pain-free as possible.

When meeting him he actually took time out of his day to have a decent chat with me and my mate. I know of people who’ve worked on his flat when he was at Notts county and they spoke about how kind he was to them. Very sad news

So sad lovely guy, doesnt deserve this well no one does. Done a decent job at the foxes taking us out the championship relegation zone to midtable. His best victory was the 4-0 win over Derby.

The England era was iconic, and anyone who manages us to a five goal win in Germany is a legend to me, even if we later underachieved.

I saw this news earlier but thought better of it, never, after yesterday, was I going to post that!

Whether or not he is a 'legend' is an irrelevant, even cruel, point to make.

Last point on the legend thing.... people can be like 'cult status' legends... in that respect he's bloody iconic for Leicester and England because of his personality more than anything else!

I really enjoyed his time in charge - we played some great football at times and I loved the Sven wave - It was like he was bring in a boeing 747.
