Like Fatawu you mean???

He's a winger...   every forward we have had has been shite.

Akinbyi, Slimani, Daka, Iheanacho

Sorry...   they were all GREAT!

Yeah, I get it, but you just end up with two useless forwards because you have ran Vardy into the ground.

It's sort of irrelevant whether he's any good or not, if playing he meant we could squeeze 10% more quality out of Vardy.

In hindsight yes because Vardy has been awful and all those games were written off as losses irrespective of who started. I guess it was more of a risk earlier on.

Daka's main issue is that he looks like a toddler trying to play football with a balloon far too often.

I was so hyped about his signing, his lack of ability to consistently show a basic level of footballing ability is insane though.

Feels like he's on the longest contract ever. Tried my best to like him, but he needs to be gone.

Yup, I want to like him and he's been poor. Though shattered confidence and poor management hasn't helped matters..

As disappointing as the signing has been, I reckon every single championship side would play him and, I'd suggest most importantly, most managers would know how to play him.

Ball in front of him, run onto it and smash it. Go to war with what you have, not what you want etc

Low block kinda negates all of that

The problem with Daka is when given a chance in the team, he usually ends up tackling himself.

He won’t get any better. How many chances do you give a player to gain confidence when they can’t do the basics when given the chance.

He just isn’t very good at his job.

He seems a nice fella. Probably good member of camp. The problem is he cannot play. He was not much good in the championship last time. Very worrying if we hang our hopes on him next season.

Think people's memories of Patson in the championship are skewed a little, from the miss at Leeds.

To my memory he was pretty good other than that.

I don't mind him being around next year but he's never going to make it in the Premier League

That Leeds game killed him. Before that he lead the line ok. Scored a few tap ins, and was generally threatening. He had a goal wrongly disallowed against Leeds, then missed a sitter. After that he was rancid. Missed very good chances away at Plymouth and Millwall too, confidence disappeared and he becomes a circus footballer

For all of Patson’s faults I genuinely think it’s his mentality that lets him down the most. If he misses a chance he’s mentally gone, and then the clown shoes come out

Spot on. I think he could do with seeing a sports psychologist.

He was dropped because after his mini purple patch against lower champ teams, Daka leading the line resulted in our worst run of form of the season 3 consecutive defeats with only 3 goals scored in those fixtures as a team.

6 starts since his last goal against Watford and 4 of

those games resulted in defeat.

So it wasn’t like Enzo just dropped him for no reason.

I hope I am being pessimistic here. If the EFL give us a transfer embargo, we might actually be forced to keep him.

Vards is off. Edouard is off. We sold cannon in Jan.

Obviously it is hypothetical but the thought of it is just making me angry.

Shambles that we are in positions like these.

**** sake.

1. What bearing on where someone comes from has anything to do with their ability, specifically as a centre forward as well in this case, as I presume you wouldn't have a problem with another outside forward like Mahrez. Or signing Mo Salah.

2. Akinibiyi is not African, he played for Nigeria (once, ****ing once) through his parents, he was born in Hackney, raised in London, product of the English footballing system, and has never played outside of England. He's about as Nigerian as Anthony Joshua.

He wasn't dropped, he went to AFCON.

But hes not good enough to lead the line for us next season.
