Unfortunately this is also really demotivating for those players… imagine being Cannon / Nacho / Coady / Albrighton / etc watching these performances knowing that you’re rated as poorer than those on the pitch!!!!

The thing that is also totally mystifying is that it's pretty obvious that Poundshop Pep doesn't fancy Cannon and Coady so why for the love of god, and bearing in mind our financial predicament, did we spend so much money on them in the summer.

Don't get him at all, the finish for the offside goal was very good, but then he somehow manages to not just miss easier chances but completely **** them

He's been terrible for ages, but saw something new in his game today which is even more concerning. He was actively trying to avoid putting himself in scoring situations, to avoid missing. His confidence is shot. On 4 occasions tonight he made counterintuitive runs so he either wasn't in a postion to receive a pass, or he ran towards the defender so he wasn't in a position to miss....and still butchered the chances he did get. At one point, in the first half, KDH went to cross it, and he literally ran away from the 6 yard box in the opposite direction. KDH gave him an absolute mouthful, quite rightly.

 

To be fair to the guy, even when he's been regularly missing presentable chances, he's still been pretty resilient and kept on plugging away. He was trying to hide in plain sight tonight.

 

So what does Enzo do? Stick with him for well over an hour.

I actually feel sorry for him. He is woefully out of form and has zero confidence yet his manager insists on putting him in the firing line again and again. Appaling man management.  Daka seems a lovely guy and looked so upset after he was subbed.  He is destroying him by doing this too him

The review into relegation revealed nothing and no one was to blame, so little surprise we carried on in the same manner😂 It's been the same every summer, at least half of the budget blown on rubbish or players the manager has no intention of using.
