Not sure about some of the praise. Especially funny as well in tandem with Ndidi getting motm.

He had some good moments and was OK when he got on the ball, put in a couple of alright tackles.

But they were absolutely walking through us time and time again. There was just oceans of room in the middle of the park as neither of them really held shape and both were frequently just jogging around lost.

Absolutely fully acknowledge that it was a big improvement for him personally and would also say it was a collective, team issue and we had similar when Enzo first came in and tried to establish the defensive shape.

So I'm not for one second calling him out for that performance. But some of these reactions, you'd think he put the shift in BEK did.

Our fans have unbelievably low standards.

Him and Ndidi might as well’ve not been playing in the first half with the way they just walked through us centrally.

Both definitely improved second half, but they couldn’t have been much worse if we’re being honest.

Well Ruud has praised both of them, so sorry mate that beats your view !

Na, he's actually one of the few decent pundits... Normally.

Exactly. It's a team issue. Hopeful its something Ruud will work on as we can't carry on being bypassed so easily and conceding so many chances.

That being said, there's been a vast improvement from Soumare and he deserves credit for that. Time will tell if Ruud can find a system to complement him long term but he deserves his place at present.

Think some of the praise is a bit OTT as it's so chaotic when he plays, and you can't be giving up 30 shots on goal.

But did some really good things and the effort is definitely there. Overall a good performance.

I've got nothing against Wild, he was alright tonight but there were others in the team who I thought were well ahead with their performances.

His best performance for us, but we all know that's a low bar. Still think he loses concentration and let's runners past him too often. I think in an ideal world he'd play further up because his passing is pretty good.

Played well tonight, doesn't absolve him of the last however long he's been here but FFS be about right.

When he's been terrible/a non-entity we are quick enough to hammer him. Tonight wasn't one of those occasions so credit where it's due.

Let's hope there's more to come.

I like it when he sprints width ways across the pitch with the ball without actually achieving much

At least one of those times really wasn't his fault, VK and I think it was BEK made atrocious attacking runs where even prime Xavi would have struggled to make a pass

Actually quite surprised at the low level of praise in here from the majority to be honest, I thought that was his best game in a Leicester shirt by some distance. Immense.

Doing that more consistently is another matter though.
