Popular Post Dahnsouff Posted 18 June 2024 Popular Post Posted 18 June 2024 Its going to be +13 to mess with our heads. That'll show us who is boss. 7

dannythefox Posted 20 June 2024 Posted 20 June 2024 Gonna start the season not knowing what our situation is we still don’t even know how much money we need to raise. Nothing is clear what we need to do regarding, money or points deductions etc has the transfer ban officially been lifted ?
MPH Posted 21 June 2024 Posted 21 June 2024 (edited) In memory of what is probably Jamie Vardy’s last season in professional football, they should make it -9 points. Top bantz. Edited 21 June 2024 by MPH
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 21 June 2024 Posted 21 June 2024 Reckon it will be 9 reduced to 6 on appeal. The mentality of starting a season on a minus figure (if we do) will be a massive mental barrier, especially for this lot who haven’t seemed to be blessed with a strong mentality over recent years. Worrying stuff. 2

And we're a week into the transfer window and the club does not appear to be in any rush to sell players to avoid another PSR breach. That could change, of course, but as things stand it seems like KDH, for example, may still be our player on 1 July... 3
suffolk fox Posted 21 June 2024 Posted 21 June 2024 In a strange twist of fate its going to be +73.......We will still mess it up and contrieve to give the title to Man City on the last day.
Foxin_Mad Posted 21 June 2024 Posted 21 June 2024 Yes its definately going to be + points, pureley due to the fact we have schooled the EPL and EFL and showed them how crap and anitcopetivtive their stupid PSR rules are! We should definately get a bonus. I atually hope Man City win as the Red Cartel is trying to protect its crumbling empire.
Pliskin Posted 21 June 2024 Posted 21 June 2024 Young lady behind the drive thru at McDonalds told me she’s heard it’s going to be +100. Allegedly the EPL have got confused what + and - mean.
Lambert09 Posted 21 June 2024 Posted 21 June 2024 This thread has been pretty information dry for a while. Does anyone know the dates of the hearings? Might be in our best interest to get the signings done beforehand.

We have no idea about the level of breach, what points deduction the PL will ask for, nor what our defence will consist of. We don't even know the outcome of Man City's legal case against the PL, which could significantly impact how our case is dealt with - especially if the PL loses. In short, we know nothing. Edited to add: If this article is correct that the decision in Man City's case is expected within two weeks of 10 June (when the tribunal started), then we should know more about that early next week. Everton's first deduction hearing was held from 16 to 20 October 2023. (They were charged on 24 March 2023). Highly unlikely we have any idea about our fate until after the season starts. 1
Clever Fox Posted 21 June 2024 Posted 21 June 2024 I'd say Legally the league has very little credibility, They've huffed and puffed about the Man city situation which led to us and others taking similar risks. In short they don't know what to do or how to handle it. This could run on in the Courts for years. Which is why I expect a compromise agreement will be reached on a undisclosed fine and maybe a points deduction. With a toughening of the Rules to follow going forward. It's a mess of their own making.

I assume we’ll also be struggling for 24/25 on the three year rolling basis (has to be below around £85m ) perhaps we have decided to go all in on the efl breach 23/24 because if we manage to stay up then the EFL sanction will be financial - they could actually opt to place a deferred points deduction in conjunction with a lower fine if we’re struggling. kicking the can down the road may be seen as being a better policy as the rules might change. 2
Popular Post Ginger_Filbert Posted 22 June 2024 Popular Post Posted 22 June 2024 Seems Villa, Everton and Chelsea are all dealing between themselves to avoid sanctions. A lot of money being swapped back and forth on youngsters in particular. 12
JimmyC74 Posted 22 June 2024 Posted 22 June 2024 Would you be surprised if Enzo and Chelsea came in for Fatawu or mads / maybe offered us one of their academy lads on loan.

lcfc sheff Posted 22 June 2024 Posted 22 June 2024 if this kind of bullshit can occur we must have some sort of plan to avoid selling KDH and getting a points deduction 1
LVFox Posted 22 June 2024 Posted 22 June 2024 Ridiculous what's happening between Chelsea, Villa and Everton, but in fairness to them, completely within the rules and gets them out of a bind. If we had any sense we'd be selling Wanya to Chelsea for 20m and happily purchasing one of their youth duffers for the same price
