after two years I still don't know where he fits in, clearly not a 9, not technical enough to play 10 and slow for a winger?

Think he legs have gone.

He’d look great in the under 14s at another club.

An unbelievably shite signing.

Probably not a bad apple but he’s generally woeful

He just isn’t anywhere near involved enough. Honestly feels like he never touches the ball.

and when he does he always seems to give it a way or get in the ****ing way.

He's what I'd call a waste of space player

Presume his legs have gone as he was half decent at Fulham.

Fulham is a weird football club and certain players and managers tend to be well liked and have success there. More often than not they are underwhelming elsewhere.

All true, but never mind that he was washed up when we signed him, he tickled steve cooper's 'experience' fetish.

Has he affected a game in 2 years? Can't remember. Did he get a goal against Brighton in RVN's first game? Genuinely couldn't tell you anything else he's done.

The only game I've been genuinely impressed with him was Norwich away last season.

Came on, transformed the game and ultimately won it for us.

genuinely don't have a problem with him, as long as he doesn't start games for us

BDCR, Skipp, Winks last season was probably our worst midfield ever.

Two central midfielders who take forever to move the ball forwards and an attacking midfielder who loses the ball 50% of the time when it finally gets to him. So we massively struggled to get the ball into attacking areas.

None of them ran particularly hard either, so frustrating. Makes what Jordan James did last season playing with those 3 that much more impressive.

I night be remembering wrongly but I'm sure in his latter seasons with them he played more as a wing back. Obviously he needed legs for that but shows what they thought of his attacking ability.

And to think when he was signed he was described as "Albrighton if he played further forward" 😂

I'd take Albrighton back right now over this guy

Reid done ok on Saturday but is probably past his best now but still has something to offer in experience. I wouldn't worry about Saturdays game as Senior players tend to save themselves in such games.

I expect it will be 1 off Reid, Chaplin and Cullen to start games along with the new Striker and Winger up top. Supported by Alves and Braybrooke providing the ammunition with Skipp the anchor in Midfield.
