Lineker's Left Foot Posted 5 October 2024 Posted 5 October 2024 Problem is this Charlatan now keeps his job 2
Nalis Posted 5 October 2024 Posted 5 October 2024 (edited) We obviously won't be sacking him any time soon will we? So let's take the positive of getting 3pts and some decent individuals performances today. Edited 5 October 2024 by Nalis 2
Trav Le Bleu Posted 5 October 2024 Posted 5 October 2024 Honestly. If you'd told me we'd be one point behind Man Utd after 8 games... Cooper masterclass! 2
MarriedaLeicesterGirl Posted 5 October 2024 Posted 5 October 2024 I had a massive cerebral haemorrhage last year, and I wouldn't even exchange the scar tissue in my brain with any part of his... 4

Bournemouth hitting post, bar and getting disallowed for offside, and a wonder goal by Facundo... if we'd lost by 2 he could have complained a jot. I mean he still would but he'd look a clown. I don’t rate him but he clearly can set up a team because aside from the Arsenal game (where we nearly drew), we’ve been defensively tight and in every game. Compared to the relegation season, the defensive organisation is a billion percent better. He’s just a coward going forward, but he is anxious about losing that defensive structure if we open it up. It’s grim but it makes sense, he just needs to be braver at important moments in games. Edited 5 October 2024 by Lionator 2 2
Popular Post SixtiesFox Posted 5 October 2024 Popular Post Posted 5 October 2024 Delighted we won but my opinion of Cooper hasn't changed. Superb goal from Buonanotte should have been the springboard for a positive display with attacking intent. Instead we defended a precarious 1 goal lead for the remainder of the game. Our defending was excellent but such was our negative approach, if it hadn't been for poor finishing and the woodwork, it would have been another disappointing defeat. I think our squad is strong enough to survive but Cooper lacks the tactical acumen to get the best out of it. I'd pull the trigger before we sink into the bottom 3 but we all know that this lot will leave it too late like they did with Rodgers. 6 1
sharpylcfc Posted 5 October 2024 Posted 5 October 2024 Don't really care about the 3 points. Win or performance doesn't justify him keeping his job. Get him gone. Cooper out. 4 2
lcfcell Posted 5 October 2024 Posted 5 October 2024 Why is he so ****ing bad at reacting to what’s happening in the game? Does he plan his subs the night before? 1
wokinghamfox Posted 5 October 2024 Posted 5 October 2024 We've got 6 points so let's get behind the team and management. Let's face it the guy we had last season walked out without giving us a second thought and he didn't exactly pull up any trees either. We're a work in progress so less of the negativity. 2 2
whoareyaaa Posted 5 October 2024 Posted 5 October 2024 Gives him till Christmas that win does, thought he got the team almost right but rather see Fatawu or Bilal starting instead of Ayew. Still not a fan. also need to make subs a bit quicker
Popular Post Pliskin Posted 5 October 2024 Popular Post Posted 5 October 2024 He got away with that today, a Var decision and poor finishing from Bournemouth spared him. Still no identity, and the football is getting worse. Backs against the wall against Bournemouth? ****ing honking. **** off Cooper. 5 1
Stevosevic Posted 5 October 2024 Posted 5 October 2024 I don’t see any chance of progress under him. Yeh we MIGHT stay up, but the football will still be the same next season. 2 1
MattFox Posted 5 October 2024 Posted 5 October 2024 Second half was as bad as anything this season Top not in town again interestingly 3

I'll stop with the metaphors now🤔

Popular Post Mark Posted 5 October 2024 Popular Post Posted 5 October 2024 Genuinely scared what we'll let him do in January if he's here that long after already having Ayew as a starter with Reid and Edouard his go to subs 8

I really don’t think we have been defensively tight this season There is a reason before today we were bottom or near the bottom for basically every defensive stat 3 1
Popular Post Cropwellfox Posted 5 October 2024 Popular Post Posted 5 October 2024 Won in spite of him not because of him. His game management is appalling. Nothing else to say 8 1
LinekersLugs Posted 5 October 2024 Posted 5 October 2024 It’s awful stuff but 6 points buys him at least a month sadly 1

teblin Posted 5 October 2024 Posted 5 October 2024 2 shots on target. 2 games in a row where we haven’t won a corner.

Popular Post Tom12345 Posted 5 October 2024 Popular Post Posted 5 October 2024 Happy with 3 points. But I am almost there with calls for Cooper out - not sure how much longer I like to keep my patience with Cooper. Cooper was saved by a moment of brilliance and the post/bar a few times today. Otherwise, we played like we are away from home playing a team a division higher. We posed no threat whatsoever in the second half. We turned the ball over almost always instantly with no outlet to bring the ball upfield. So so poor. We could not even keep the ball for more than 20 seconds. We had no clue. If not for the post/bar and Bournemouth failing to capitalise on the numerous chances they had, we would have dropped points once again, at home. Great to get three points, but so disappointed to see how we play. Second half was the worst this season. Totally dominated by Bournemouth at home. We have a decent squad but we lack any plan and team selection is poor. Cooper (almost) out. 7 1 1
