Isn’t that what makes it so good? There are very few matches I watch this season where I think I can easily predict before kick off.

That’s exactly what I want and j a league season, especially now Man City have been brought back down to earth. It will make for a way more interesting season.

No. As long as we stop up I don’t care.

Not bothered about where forest finish.

It's nice to see other clubs trying to push up including your Brentford etc because it's boring as feck seeing the same 4 or 5 teams always at the top. Yawwwwwn.

If we can rediscover form and stay up, building to be better than them will be key and make the local derby more thrilling. Of course the same goes for the Brentford and bournemouths. Not getting shagged by them would be excellent lol.

Southampton are projected to finish on 12/13 points based on their current points per game ratio. The funny thing is they're not actually THAT bad. They've probably not got enough in that squad to stay up, but they shouldn't be in the conversation for the worst premier league sides ever. If they part company with Martin and replace him with a manager who isn't going to play high risk football with a squad that isn't capable at this level, they can at least make it look relatively competitive.

I still can’t get my head around how we won the league, then an FA Cup whilst Forest were struggling in the championship, and now we are miles behind them.

Shambolic management. I can’t believe they’re still here.

And we’re supposed to believe this is the best league in the world. Complete nonsense. Take the top 5 or 6 out and anyone can beat most teams on the day. There is so much rubbish in this division a newly promoted side could easily stop up.

This season has shown that even the top 6 can be beaten by anyone which makes it even better. We as fans can't have it both ways that it's seemingly the best league in the world but a closed shop because of the top 6, then when those teams aren't as competitive and other teams are challenging its suddenly a 'poor' league.

Rumours are that Saints has sacked Russell Martin, supposed to be announced tomorrow.

That's a real shame although I'm not sure anyone could come in and keep them up

Let's not overdo it. They will probably finish between 9th and 12th. We will probably finish between 15th and 17th.

We have a tendency to doom monger on this forum whenever Forest look even half competent. I remember the forum doing it when they were managed by Billy Davies and spanked us 5-1.

'They're going up automatically.'

'They'll be up for years.'

'They're much better run than us.'

It was another 12 years before they got promoted.

Forest have finished 16th and 17th in their two seasons so far. They will make incremental progress rather than stunning progress this season. We're probably a season or two behind.

Who the hell is that forest plonker Costa or something who is trying his upmost to look like Grealish?  Same hairband, same hair style, Same no shinpads and socks pulled down.  It's cringeworthy and quite freaky, a clone perhaps.

Apparently United are looking for a new sporting director that has overseen a Premier League win more recently than United, they must have also won the FA Cup in their role, have links and worked in a similar role in a club that plays in Europe and overseen at least one other Championship win.

Anyone know anyone who fits the bill?

I'm picking up what you're putting down
