At this time, you wouldn’t back him to adjust to the pace of the PL

and we don’t really have the time to indulge him ……

He was fine, never made a shit pass or lost possession also hit the post

I might be a bit harsh on him, as he ended the first half quite well and had some fairly decent moments, but I don't think he's ready to start Premier League games. He needs to be much more intense defensively and take a leaf out of Buonanotte’s book. Some of the fans can stop insisting he starts games now, as that's twice he's started and twice he's not done great.

I'd prefer him to start over Ayew.

Also we have paid 20m for him so bedding him in instead of Facundo would be ideal in the long run.

Maybe start Fatawu over one of these though although he hasn't been great in previous games either.

Gotta stick with him mate , he’ll come good he’s gotta find his feet and the pace of the premier league. Thought he looked ok it patches & if that goal effort that hit the post went in we’d all be saying differently wouldn’t we . Keep the faith, great win today, let’s get 100% behind them for Friday ( make loads of noise) always a big game against Forest , bragging rights for the EAST MIDLANDS 🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊

I think he looked fine. There's just a tendency on here to see someone new and make an instant decision on them depending on how the match is going.

Said it already in the thread, I think he'd be better suited to a deeper role.  Would probably need to see more of him off the ball though.  As some have said he looks like he'd have worked well in Enzo's system.  It's just going to take some time for Cooper to decide what's best to do with him.

For me, Fatawu has to start the next game. He was unstoppable today & caused Southampton a ton of grief.

There's a player there , he just needs time , some of his first time passes were sublime and he has good off the ball movement after making a pass , remember he's still young

Pointless him playing today. Buonanotte was right next to him all game so I don't think I those 2 will be able to play together in the current system. Maybe lacks the personality to impose himself on the game at the moment but his temperament looks great and his use of the ball the is fantastic.

I know Genk and Moroccan fans absolutely raved about him. Said that his game is much more about the 'pre-assist' rather than being judged on goal contributions, which I can already see

I think he should be an impact player, coming of the bench and start him in the cup games. This season is a transition for him and hopefully we will benefit next season🏆🏆🏆

still a young lad making a big step up in terms of standard of league he's in, hopefully he comes good, maybe not ready to start yet though

It is clear that El Khannouss has a bromance with Buonanotte...

...only passing to Buonanotte etc.

Once he it gets over that - could be decent.

No that's a positive about him , getting it to our most dangerous player as quickly as possible, not dwelling on the ball , players like Facundo want the ball when they ask for it and Bilal did that a few times

looks, unsurprisingly, like a talented kid adjusting to a new country and league after only a month and a bit here. there's talent in there, we're seeing glimpses, but he needs time to get up and running. problem is, how do you give it him, in any sensible lineup the wingers would be Fatawu and Mavididi, and Buonnoatte is absolute mustard.
