Don't care what anyone says or how much empirical evidence they provide, there never used to be this many between the start of the season and Christmas and that's a fact.

Since August:

Each Premier League club has played 11 games.

By the end of this international break there will have been 6 games for internationals in that same timeframe.

The fact 8 players have withdrew from England duty speaks volumes of the regard they hold them in.

There is currently 4 international breaks in a season. In 26/27 the good news is it is being reduced to three.

Bad news is first one will 3 weeks long. International teams will play four games in this period

What is the point of yet another break when so many players from the big six find way of avoiding selection, and the answer to that seems to be let’s give out caps to even more new players.

Gives us time to replace Steve, then give the new manager a little longer to settle in.

We won't sack him unfortunately, but the opportunity is there if we wanted to take advantage of it.

And all you get is there's too many games from the usual suspects

There's too much football full stop, regardless of what type it is. It's very nearly done eating itself.

Don’t forget we also have the FIFA Club World Cup for the first time next year

International breaks are good as it's a week with zero football to tempt you to watch it.

It's shit, nobody should watch it (i don't care if you like it) and we can have a break from the disgusting billionaires dildo that is the Premier League.

International football is the only part of the top level game that isn’t decided almost entirely by money (though facilities, coaching etc. in richer countries obviously is factor). But outside of major tournaments I have little interest I have to say…

It is. But that’s a debate for another day.

The Nations League  International Football started out as a good idea, but it’s a pain in the arse now.

These breaks are far too frequent.

Years ago I watched football nearly every day. I'd watched prem games, England games, anything that was on, I'd watch it.

Now I can barely even be arsed watching Leicester games let alone any other. I don't find it as exciting as I once did and the poor running of the club and how shit we are now is a factor but I just think football in general has gone boring.

Years ago, big champions league games and el classicos etc I'd be all up for but I've not actually watched a full game of football (other than Leicester and non league) for a long time.

I don't even watch motd or any kind of highlights shows anymore. They say too much of something isn't a good thing and this is exactly what's happened with football. There is too much of it and it's not as entertaining as it once was.
