Genuinely nervous about this.  His track record at PSV was solid enough, but they are one of the biggest teams in the league, same as the squad at utd.  His win record at Jong PSV in a team that historically finishes low in the table was average at best.... We will see how it plays out.  Id have preferred a safe pair of hands whilst we establish, but let's get behind him and team and see where it takes us!

Agree with all of this. PSV improved after he left. Man U he oversaw 4 games mostly against us with an eltie team. 

 

Actually think this is going to end in disaster and people are only thinking about his record as a player. 

 

Still will back him 100% now he is here.

Big risk for a Prem club in the situation of being near the bottom of the league, but fair play for not just dipping back into the usual merry-go-round of tried, tested and failed managers. 

 

Should at least be an interesting season from now on.

I'd counter the PSV improved after he left bit with the fact his successor benefitted from being able to spend a chunk of the funds they got from selling Madueke and Gakpo, as well as inheriting Bakayoko who's had a year developing under Ruud to kick on in his 2nd season.

 

They were bang in the mix for the title until those mid season sales.

Huge risk but so was Enzo. He won't be disillusioned into thinking the prem is easy but he'll be confident and demanding enough to ask the players to be front footed. Might end in disaster but we've certainly learnt defence for us is not the best form of attack.

No idea how this is going to go, but he does speak incredibly well and you can sense an aura about him just by how he communicates. 

 

I think as long as we can get some semblance of excitement back into our play, he'll get far more leeway than Cooper even if the results don't immediately pick up.

Get the senior players on board 

Make the training sessions enjoyable

Take them out on the piss, leave early and leave them with your credit card ( It worked for big Sam ) 

Stick the players in their best positions

Play quick exciting football 

Start winning a few games 

Get the KP rocking again !!

If you’re a young player at the club, looking at his record and hearing him speak must fill you with enthusiasm- won’t be surprised to see Reid out of the squad and Alves in replacing him very soon.

So excited to have him managing our football club. After listening to that interview, he just exudes class, calm, confidence, and assured. He’ll earn respect as soon as he walks through the door. He'll know more than anyone it’s a tough job but I think he's got what it takes. Let’s bring back the feel-good factor. Steer us to safety, Ruud!
