Alves might not be half as good as we think/hope as fans.

 

BUT I’m fed up with seeing the same dross get given minutes when you know they won’t influence this game or be game changers in future games.

Given the gap between the previous two promotions and the length of years between now and last time we were in Premier League for a decent amount of time, you can't really compare the value. It's always going to be most expensive. 

 

It's also a better squad than we assembled under Micky Adams.

Honestly I’d prefer a replacement for him and Ayew occupy the other wing than to watch his attitude every week. 
 

Someone posted earlier “it’s all about him with Mav” and it’s absolutely correct. And in all honesty, he’s crap.

We to often take the easy option to play back, or hold on to it too long which often leads to us being pressured on the ball.

 

Need to play more positive forward balls.

Can someone tell the commentators to get a room with Liverpool? Better yet, might as well blow them in the stadium from how much they're creaming over Lpool.

fair, he'll have to use the squad soon. Doesn't fancy Okoli but with Fatawu out for the season we've got no options to change up that three behind the striker beyond Ayew or Buonanotte
