Such a weird signing

Just didn't seem like a Cooper signing but his horrendous ability on the ball surely means he wouldn't have been a target for Enzo either

Probably agency led, but if someone scouted him they need sacking

The same fellow who scouted Skipp.

“We are waiting for Leicester to get back to us,” confessed agent Alessandro Barison to Tuttomercatoweb.

“Some calls and proposals have already arrived. We’ve got to figure out the best way forward for him and the club, so we are evaluating the situation.

“Caleb is happy at Leicester, but also will not deny he wants to play in a more important league, and Leicester City understand that ambition. They know he deserves a different journey and are ready to let him leave, whether it is on loan or a permanent sale.”

There has been some interest from Serie A, with Torino and newly promoted Monza ready to swoop for the defender.

“Without naming names, I can say we are looking for a project like this which can give Caleb the opportunity to get back to the level where he belongs. We also need the proposals to satisfy Leicester, who did after all make an investment on him.”

So clearly trying to make sure his loyalty bonus is not stopped by officially asking for a transfer  yet making it known he would like to move on.  Spot on chatter from an agent.

I hate this part of football. They're pushing to go, making all the actions to leave, yet because they haven't "officially" requested they're entitled to the loyalty bonus

if there is one thing I could eliminate from football, it would be agents.

Blimey his wanting to play in a more important league just confirms how much of a misfit he is along with most of the other complete tossers that have haunted our football club for the last few years. He must believe that it wasn't partly down to him that we have fallen off a cliff. It's good for him that he still believes in his own ability....knob!

Ah,  the statement was so neutrally worded which I found weird.  That is a good theory.

He’s still got like £7.5m on the books sadly can’t see it being a permanent transfer, loan deal is most likely.

I thought we signed him for about £8m

plus add ons so highly likely unless there are any specific appearance driven bonuses then by my reckoning it will be closer to £5m but maybe wrong.

He's not got it between the ears which makes him very difficult to coach and improve.

Get rid absolutely

He’s also an absolute liability in the air.

He’s built like a tank but has the winning dual stats of a Fiat 500!
