It’s been 20 plus years since we moved,  so out of interest for the fans that can remember, having  the choice, which ground do you prefer

Me definitely Filbert st

Filbert St although it needed a massive upgrade.

The identikit bowl will never appeal. For a modern ground the facilities are poor.

I loved Filbert Street. I loved sitting at the back of the cowshed on the backs of the seats or in the front few rows where you could actually talk to the players. I've books full of autographs. I always felt these were the best seats as you got to look at the Carling Stand whereas if you were in you had to look at the cow shed.

My first game was in the old main stand with it's wooden floors where you could poke your crisp packets between the gaps. The racket when everyone stomped for penalties.

We could do with Filbert Street this season. Memories of Owen being put over the advertising boards were a real leveler.

Never really understood why so many thought filbert street was a dump or it that it needed huge upgrades,  I go and watch the football, so as long as theres a seat or i can stand I dont really care about anything else.

So Filbert street for me.

Right now I'd take Viccy Park to get away from king power.

I’d take Sticky Viccy to get away from the KP

Pen 3 at Filbo was a huge part of my youth and I'd give my right nad to stand there and watch a game just one more time.

The KP has never felt the same for me.

Filbert Street, not even a contest is it

Yes I know there has been some great times at KP,  the great escape, title lift, Seville etc where it was rocking with 32k in the bowl

22k in at Filbo on nights like when Walshy equalised against Arsenal in the 3-3 and nearly took the the Double Decker down.

The home play off leg against Cambridge still beats anything I’ve heard at KP but obviously age may play a part in this discussion

Filbo, soon rather us flatten the kp (despite recent memories) and rebuild it exact with a modern touch.

Saying that, would we get the atmosphere Filbert Street had again with the current flock of happy clappers? Doubt it.

Filbert Street was an aging ground, with poor facilities, questionable seating, suspect foot, you always got wet when it rained …..

The King Power however is a soulless, concrete bowl, however the atmosphere, with aging facilities that need updating,

During the 15/16 the  atmosphere was intense at time. Andrea Bocelli singing Nessun Dorma will always be one of my favourite ever moments. For that alone, King Power.

The east stand, popular side or cow shed had a great view and while being really close to the pitch.

As a piece of footballing architecture, the Carling stand was a work of art.Such a shame we couldn’t take it with us.Would be a huge upgrade on most grounds main stands even though it was built in the nineties. It would have aged well unlike the Brian Clough stand for example
