Mickyblueeyes Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 If ever there’s a day when we reject selling McAteer for £10m, that is the day that we go for League One title, 2.
UniFox21 Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 If we're that concerned he'll kick on suddenly, pop a buy back in the contract

Not only 20m pure profit in transfer revenues spunked ....but we also fork out collectively around 8m in wages for the time period after rejecting the transfers til end of contracts. Bravo Jon!
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 So we could have made £15m pure profit on Thomas and McAteer and we’ve said no. I am truly struggling to believe that? We’re not that stupid are we?
Molson Canadian Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 or the club know this late in the window if they sell him they won't be able to bring in a replacement in time better than him with a weekly wage around his or lower.
Benji Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 Hahaha. We're living in a Rudkin world and we're all just bystanders. Insane business this and Thomas.
Popular Post frany104 Posted 3 February 2025 Popular Post Posted 3 February 2025 That’s astonishing. hes crap. Rejected £10 million 😂😂😂😂 and some fans think Rudkin and Top are not to blame 😂😂😂😂😂 7

coolhandfox Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 I can only assume we could see ourselves getting a replacement in time. I would have kept Alves and took the risk.

AjcW Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 Is it because he’s known them since they were kids and he thinks he’s their dad? Strikes me as that level of weirdo… 2
Corky Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 We invite this crap onto ourselves. The lack of savvy at the club is painful. 1
foxfanazer Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 We genuinely get every decision wrong don't we? 3
Popular Post LestaLad Posted 3 February 2025 Popular Post Posted 3 February 2025 We cry about PSR and turn down £15m worth for our 2 homegrown players which would’ve been straight profit for us. Rudkin has to go now man. 5
Stadt Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 What the f ucking hell are we playing at? Don't look a gifthorse in the mouth.
moore_94 Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 (edited) Mental we have turned it down - although I expect the obligation would’ve been based on promotion which doesn’t help us if we need guaranteed money now Can’t see it happening now anyway now that their player isn’t going Brighton Edited 3 February 2025 by moore_94 1

Usually would say an option unless promoted in which case it becomes an obligation (as per fatawu last season) I’m pretty sure it’s obligation to buy if promoted same as their deal for Enzo or fee. You get jack all if they don’t go up 2
Nods Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 A lot of people have said we're run by people who don't care. I disagree. We're run by blithering morons. Who in their right mind turns down £15m combined for Thomas and McAteer? And that's before we consider the context of our PSR troubles. Just when I thought we couldn't be run any worse, this. I'm lost for words. Truly flabbergasted.
Lcfcwigstonblue Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 Jesus this is dire, it’s only going to get worse as the evening goes on. We used to have so much pre planning at this club. Now we are just reactive it seems. Rudkin probably got his scroll of contacts out, realised he hasn’t got any and rejected it in fear of a backlash. Kasey isn’t good enough, take the profit and try and do a last minute deal you absolute 🔔🔚
