I think Ruud has been playing for the sack for a long time. Our top brass are sitting in the hope he has enough and resigns to preserve his reputation and avoid a relegation on his C.V. It’s a case of who blinks first.

It's certainly quite something that RvN has managed to shift the focus away from the incompetent club’s leadership. Given the current fan fury, that's no small feat, bravo Ruud 👏👏👏.

There’s not been one iota of effort by him to connect with the fans. Despite huge patience with turgid rubbish being served up, he won’t even acknowledge the fans that are sitting through it all.

 

He keeps dropping lines about his contract and positioning that he’s not going to walk. But nothing about him suggests he has any inclination to be here long-term. Yet again, we have a manager gagging for the pay-off. Not willing to talk away and forego the dollar and willing to drag the club down in the process.

 

Get him gone.

I am not disagreeing.with you. He is absolutely dreadful. I am not defending him. The majority wanted Cooper gone and got their wish. It was always going to be a risk and Top got it wrong. I do not know if PSR is the reason but I cannot think of any other reason. Top cannot be happy with what is happening.

It has taken some doing but I'm now  convinced that this is the worst manager we've had at the club. 

 

He might be genial, he may have some credit in the bank from his career but he does not have any form of clue about managing the team. 

 

I'd say get him gone but I don't know that would change anything.

 

The club made the right call in getting rid of Cooper AT THAT TIME but they've failed to replace him with anything approaching sensible. They've turned a good decision into a bad one. 

 

Under Cooper we're a mess right now but we aren't in this mess.

When you have a bad run you look for shoots of recovery. In the past seven games, we have barely attacked, offered a clown show of a defence and ambled round the pitch. We had NO shots in a half of football we needed three goals in.

 

There is nothing worth keeping. A botched, failed, hopeless experiment. Keeping it going is a waste of everybody's time.

Not only is he just genuinely the worst tactical manager I’ve ever witnessed, his tactics do not suit us at all, all of our wingers and prospective wingers are inverted and have the opposite strong foot to our flank yet his system is to have an outside winger on their strong foot… this will kill two of three from Mavididi, Alves and Fatawu next year, jsut nonsensical to hire him, and his style does not fit whatsoever, I’m at the point where I strongly believe Top panicked and brought in the closest thing he knew of to Enzo, without any actual background research. Sack him now, put Dave from the kop in charge to the end of the season on a free pie and a pint per game wage, be the same results

I think his reputation is in tatters unfortunately for him @Durnerz.

 

We needed a strong head that knew how to get us out of this mess. 
 

I still say now that if Dean Smith, Terry and Shakespeare had got 2 or 3 more games, we aren’t in the mess we are now. The board are about as relaxed as a snowman in July, chilling on the beach in Barbados. 
 

If we have a bloody plan, they just need to tell the fans. We know we are a financial mess, they just need to say we are in a period of transition and unfortunately we need to keep the belt tight and we don’t have money to spend.

 

This we are looking into 5 or 6 players in January, then spend it on an inept third choice right back is again nothing short of farcical.

 

Is King Power we’re Turkeys, they’d be out celebrating Christmas and Thanksgiving.
