My thinking is that prospective buyers wanted to make sure he was match fit before committing.

Him playing the 90 mins today should remove any doubt and I’m sure we’ll see him move in the next 24/48hrs.

This is exactly what we were saying. Lets hope it was just to measure fitness as he had very little to do and some of the long kicking was poor.

Was definitely saying goodbye as he went around the ground.

Fabrizio still saying John Victor to West Ham. Wonder if this is instead of or as well as Mads..?

Dafuq you mean cut price

The other GK is half the price of Mads so they may be preferring him.

Going nowhere - nobody will pay the

Money we want - and if they do it will be late in the window - he will start every game for us until then - he still has 3 years under contract doesn’t he - I’d love to see him stay and others shipped out to keep us in business

If I got to chose between mads or bilal staying I would chose bilal. If we can’t shift mads, which is looking more

likely bilal is 100 % leaving if he wasn’t already.

We are stronger if either of them stay but one if not both will have to be sold

surely.

Will be interesting to know just how much we need to raise to a) ensure we compky with PSR and b) enable Cifuentes to shape the squad to be balanced enough.

Hermansen at £25m is over £20m in profit, we'd need to sell Bilal for £40m to raise the same. My horrible feeling is someone offers us north of £30m for Fatawu or even £15m for Ben Nelson.

I was thinking this yesterday. If people think Fatawa has had a relatively solid comeback which it looks like he has, someone might take a gamble.

Yep - that’s the question - not just about draining the swamp as nobody is paying money for any of the chancers like soumare - I’m hoping the wilf and coady money is enough to balance the books of the lump sums we needed in - any small purchases are spread out anyway and cant see us paying more than the 5m kone kind of money for anyone this year - also think if bilal goes it will be a loan to cover him - if mads stays I feel a bit sorry for Jakub but mads has to play as is the better keeper - going through the prem teams keepers I just can’t see anyone paying 25m for mads

We can afford this one to play out later in the window provided we sell Ndidi/Justin so we can bring in a cm or 2 and a striker, have his replacement waiting in the wings, would only need to find a back up option

werent we about 19 million over on something for 23/24 so surely ndidi and hermansen brings us down to zero ish?

not sure whether this was 19 million over the limit or just 19 million over everything

I have a sickly feeling that someone like Leeds will come in for Abdul

Never heard of him. He must be decent! Apparently Stoke got him for free? How dim must his previous club have been?!

I’d be amazed if West Ham go for Johansson  over Mads. Completely different styles.

Yeah there's zero chance.

Find it weird that Mads played a full 90 in our last Pre Season friendly if any kind of deal was a certainty.

I think as far as the managers concerned, he's a Leicester player and he'll be starting against Sheffield Wednesday unless anything comes through.

As had been pointed out, he’s not played a game since his op

if I’m a buying club then I’m taking a discount on that basis alone.  Yesterday proved that he’s fit and ready to play.

we could also be playing games with a lowball buyer by trying to show we don’t need to sell him. (We do)

Abduls going nowhere.  Nobody will pay the 30 mill needed without seeing how his  knee is after 5 or 10 games. Xmas, he's probably gone
